I should have posted this earlier, but I'm going to be in Lake Junaluska, NC (about a half-hour west of Ashville, NC) tomorrow. Anyone know of any good hobby shops in that area? I'm looking for the usual hobby stuff like die cast, models, slot cars, etc. Any suggestions will be appreciated - thanks!

Probly should be in the Carolinas forum, not the south central (Texas) forum..

Whoops...I'm glad someone is paying attention, 'cause I'm sure not. ;)

There is a shop in Asheville called Carolina Arts & Crafts, and one in Hendersonville called Hobby House.
I personally buy my radio control stuff from online or Tower Hobbies to beat the retail costs!
