Hi, I am considering the purchase of a new 03 Cobra or Mach One, I have been trying all the dealers that I have seen postings at different sites for $26,800, $28,900 or whatever, and they all seem to act as if I had just gotten done smoking something, I'm beginning to think that many of those were holiday weekend prices. The best price that I have found currently is $30200, has anyone run across anything that is better than that, that would still be valid?

Not in Southern Maryland, $32K is best price I have seen for the 03 Cobra Coupe. The Ford Dealer in Waldorf had a Mach 1 for just over $28K but that isn't all that great a deal IMO. Go with the Cobra if you get the chance:D

Two weeks ago, Ted Britt Ford in Fairfax Virginia, had lowered the price of their Cobras $3,000 off MSRP. I was there and I saw it. I don't know if it still stands, but, Ford had a $2,500 rebate on the Cobras that the dealers weren't telling anyone about.

Newbie Here
I just bought a 03 10thAnn. Conv. last Monday for $35500. Bob Bennet Ford in Columbia,SC had a $4500 off sale on 03 Cobras and MAch1s untill last Mon. and they said the $2500 rebate from Ford was good untill the end of the month. They had 10 more Cobras and 2 MAch1s after I bought mine and about half of the Cobras they had left were 10th Ann. They seem pretty anxious to get rid of the 03s because the 04s are about to ship.

Bought mine at Ted Britt a month ago. They gave me the A plan discount on top of the $2500.00 rebate. Some of the great deals you are seeing is the Dealer letting them go at the A/Z plan discount price. Don't let them fool you, they are still getting a commission on the car at that price. Purvis Ford in Stafford Va. had a Sonic Blue convertible that they refused to give a discount on so I naturally had to stop by with my sonic Blue coupe to see if they still were being stubborn about it. The rebate is valid but to get it you will pay a higher APR for the financing. Ted Britt bent over backwards to make a deal. They went as far as getting my car from a dealer in baltimore because they didn't have the color and Crome wheels I wanted. If you want one, at the dicount price you will have to travel out of your area to get it but it is worth it!
