I saw that last night, Dave. Congrats! We already knew that Tony was famous. Or was it infamous? :D But anyway, it was good reading about your drag racing abilities. You won! Of course you were the only one in your class. A win is a win!!!

Yes, it's faster. I made only three passes all that weekend, 2 qualifying and one on Sunday. None of them had to be fast and I didn't want to hurt the car, since Columbus, Ohio is a long way from Raleigh.

Greg,
speaking of dots, I think RedfireGT said he saw Issac's Car at his house earlier this week setting on a trailer.:( (He lives off Mills Gap don't he?) Did Dale @ Custom Performance get through with it?Is it ready to rock & roll or still not done yet?:doubt:

He had it out last Saturday night on Patton, BUT his belt was frayed and he still has an intake and throttle body to install, then he needs to have it retuned. So he's getting closer.
As for mine...I'm taking it to Custom this Saturday and dropping it off to have the fuel system upgraded (lines, rails, fittings & pump) and they are going to install my Reichard Racing 2.9" super grip pulley for my blower! Then I will retune the car and be ready to ROCK! :D

Got some kid at Erwin (a friend of my sons) says he has an LX that he is bringing down to Patton to run you and Issac because he don't believe that you have that kind of rwhp, said that it couldn't be street legal if you did. Don't no what has been done to LX (said its not his but his is going to buy it!)but he wants to race me first then some of ya'll. I think he is just running his mouth, but ya never know.
Let you know more when I get some details. But sounds like you won't be down on Patton this week.
Will have to wait to you can be down.

Our Pecking order is first you race the '98 (RJ) IF you beat him then you race the '03 (Vance) IF you beat him then you get a crack at me...and IF (a very big IF) you beat me Isaac will run him. But I doubt he'll get past Vance. :D

For the fourth time in Whistler, I'm driving in the Raleigh Christmas parade. I usually have driven the Grand Marshall or the mayor. This year, I've put in my bid to drive the Grand Marshall, who is Raleigh's own Clay Aiken.
I'll see if they will let me fly the club door signs.

Well when he was confornted to "put up or shut up" and that there was several cobras that were real hungry;) he has change his tune.:D
He is not real interested now, says he has some work to do to it and that he was just having some fun with us:doubt: :doubt:
But I did tell him that as soon as the "work" is done and he gets it in his name to come on down to Patton one Friday and play:thumbsup:

Not so...I'm just busier than a one arm paper hanger. I've been working in Flagstaff, AZ and the travel is killing me. :D BD

It's official, I'm driving Clay Aiken in the parade this Saturday. What a hoot. I have driven my 99 Cobra Convertible in the parade the last three years and usually drive the Grand Marshall or the mayor. This year's Grand Marshall is Clay Aiken, who is from Raleigh, by the way. Carolyn accepted the offer to ride as a passenger.
Will trade autographs for Cobra rear suspension upgrades.
