So today I go to the Raleigh, NC Christmas parade. My little girl is in baton and was marching. Clay Aiken was the Grand Marshal of the parade and guess who he was riding with? Dave Stanfield drove Clay Aiken through the parade! Now I'm not a big fan of Clay, but there were over 40,000 people at the parade and lots were there to see him. The coolest part was that Dave had his large SCMC logo magnets on the car doors in the parade! I didn't have my camera today unfortunately.

I was hoping he would do that! He said he would get some digital pics for me and we'll post them up on the website when he sends them over here.
Can't wait to see him in the parade.:bounce:

:rotf: :rotf: I was thinking they were for Dave's car. A '99 Cobra with a blower and 90k plus miles, Ford may want that one back to see what they did right.

The girlie man who finished second in some TV show competition to find "superstars". I forget the name of the show 'cause I didn't watch it!

The show was "American Idol" and Clay finished second in the voting. But, the voting was flawed and all who tried to did not get through to the final counts.....in my mind, Clay won. We'll let his record sales tell the story.
Be sure to watch David Letterman's Late Show Monday night when Clay is his guest. Possible shots of the Cobra?????

Aiken fans who missed the parade or the original broadcast by WRAL last Saturday morning can watch the parade on cable channel 24 on the following dates and times:
Nov. 26 at 8 p.m.
Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.
Dec. 23 at 10 a.m.
Dec. 24 at 6 p.m.
WRAL offered the parade to channel 24 so that people who were not able to watch the live telecast could watch it on a delayed basis. Interest was heightened by Aiken's appearance in his own hometown parade.
