Has anyone not had to use them when putting an off-road pipe on thier car? I put one on my Cobra today and ordered the eliminators right after...have yet to see the engine light come on...i know it works cause it's come on before and i have not seen any drop off in performance...car's really loud by the way. eliminators will be here tomorrow.

Mike,
You Cobra will need them. Sooner or later, you will trip the CEL. :)

You will need them, it'll take a few cycles before the CEL will trip. When it does trip (from lack of cats) it will not affect your performance in any way.
Other things can trip the CEL that will cause a performance loss, but not a CEL from your rear O2 sensors.

p.s. dr. gas x-pipe and spintech mufflers make for a really loud combo!
