The date is February 28, 2004. We are also going to give you an incentive to come to the real side of drag racing... :rotf:

We are going to be offering a $100.00 bill to the fastest Cobra with a power adder and $100.00 to the Fastest Cobra that is naturally aspirated. All this and we will still have the bracket competition for everyone, Cobra or not!

See you in the Spring!;)

Thanks!

So GM's will not be given trophies this time. That is fine...

I hope the Cobras have enough power adder!!!:D

No, no, no, no, no..... I didn't say that.

I said it was "in addition" to the bracket racing. We are just going to do three competitions but I haven't decided exactly how to do it.

Everything will be the same as it is just like any of our other events and anyone can win a trophy or the bracket cash, GM or not!

I'm saying, in addition to the normal bracket competition, we are going to do the cash award for the Cobras. This is being done by MGW not the SCMC so it's just an extra they are giving to get faster Cobras to come to the event to keep up with you guys....lol. :rotf:

I hope I am explaining it right for you?

Well, the dyno would say so...but what do the track numbers look like? I hope they are better than last time we met....;)

Did you get the block fixed? I thought I had read that a freeze plug and let go...

Cant wait to see some fast moving cars/trucks, dont matter to me if it is Ford or GM, it is all fun at Carolina!

Clear! Sounds like MGW is tired of the GMs coming down cleaning up.....

12.23 at 116 with a 2.01 60'. I was granny shifting and launched easy so as not to break the half-shafts! :D ;) I think I can easily hit 11's, I hope that's fast enough! :D

As far as the freeze plug goes...it's all good now. I replaced all 8 of them so it SHOULDN'T happen again. :bounce:

Now to find the new weakest link in the car! :D ;)

What were some of the faster street car times, N/A, FI, spray, combo....?

I probably will come down on my street tires and change but would really like to tow down just incase things get rowdy, HA!!

I remember a few years ago, the last one I was able to make..., low 12s was moving pretty good and a few 11 sec passes were had.....those were my highlights, I will probably be middle of the field now....

I didn't see anyone spraying...the best Cobra time with FI was a guy from Asheville in a 96 he ran an 11.6 on slicks at 116. I think the best Cobra NA was a 12.73 in a 2001 running on MT ET streets.

And who might that 1 be?

Still...12:36 @ 116 aint bad for street tires. I'll try to bring a set of DRs in the spring.

BTW Tony, It was that bada$$ Chevelle that knocked me out of the bracket comp
