I'll be there Joe...BUT I don't think I'm going to run the car while there. I'll be showing it and trying to recruit new members and promote our Fifth Aniversar Event! :D :D

This is to get us in the mood for a trip to Nashville. Nashville residents should not take offense to this, it's not meant that way.

Jacque and I will be going on the riverboat cruise on Thursday evening at 6:15 pm. If you would like to join us then feel free to e-mail me privately or just post here. You will have to make your own arrangements but if you need more information then just e-mail me. mrmach@cetlink.net
Should be fun! BTW, it's fairly formal in the evening so just in case you are wondering. I don't think they will let me enter with my torn tee shirt and worn out jeans. :rotf:

Usually the judging will take place on Saturday and trophies will be awarded on Sunday.
Saturday will prolly be the best day to see the most cars:thumbsup:

Hey Venomous, I'm planning on entering my 95 2-top Cobra at the 40th show. What will you be driving? Look for me. Hope to see you there!

We will be at the 40th! Staying at Knights Inn-Lebanon. At this late date, it's the only place we could find a reservation and it's fairly close to the Speedway. I understand we all get parking assignments when we check in at the gate...any way we're going to be able to park together as a club? We should all bring walkie-talkie's and decide on a channel beforehand...that way we can find each other in the middle of three or four thousand Mustangs! :bounce:  :bounce: :D

Hey Lee!! Glad to see you here! The White 94 is doing awesome. I can't believe you let the thing go. We'll either bring the 94 rio or the 94 white. Havent really decided yet. Hope to see you there! :thumbsup:BTW have you joined the club yet?
If I had a bigger garage I would have kept it! :D There aren't too many around that are in that good of shape.
I've joined the web site but not the club yet. I need to look into it.

My wife and I will be attending. We are driving down Wednesday from VA, staying at the Sleep Inn in Nashville, off I-65 exit 90B. We are staying through Sunday morning.
Looking forward to getting together with the group.
Tony - what get-togethers do we have planned?
I should be easy to spot at the show. My tags say MYSSTIC (VA), and I have fresh stainless bumper letters and SVTCobraClub.com decals on my car.
Maybe I'll wear my 2004 CMP T-shirt so people can recognize me. Probably not every day, though. ;)

Jimmy,
I'm planning a dinner out on Saturday night if you and everyone else wants to join us. We are all separated so we will have to meet in one place or meet at the restaurant. I'm staying at the Courtyard at the airport along with Larry Bolton, Peter Calvert, Burke Dawson, Mike Millage, and a few others. ;)
See you soon.... BTW, don't forget the SCMC 5th Anniversary either!

That would be great if you guys could come. My wife took care of the hotel stuff. I'm betting the host hotel is full, but there's probably other rooms there. Check the Sleep Inns and the internet, they have reasonable rates. She always finds better rates through the net than you can get any other way. Booking in advance helps, too, but there should still be something out there.
As for get-togethers, I think we're free on Saturday night, so we'll definitely join the SCMC for dinner. We can meet up with the group at the Courtyard, assuming it's not too far out of the way. My Nashville geography isn't the best.

thank you for the kind words!
I received a call from the guys and from Cari at Kenny Brown --
they invited me to come along with them -
along with Flash ofcourse... (Tim's 99 Kenny Brown)
his car will be on display at the Kenny Brown booth
I will be staying at the same hotel with them --
as they have a room for us and they have tickets and reservations for everything that we wanted to do --
as their "guest", and without Tim, I will pretty much be hanging around with Cari and the KB staff ....
that is, unless ofcourse someone from SCMC wants to take the risk of having me tag along with them...
anyway - hopefully we'll get some time to spend with our fellow SCMC'ers and we will make sure to advertise for the 5th ---
gotta get some flyers printed out....

When are most of you guys getting into town?
I've spoken to Larry Bolton, I know he's getting in tomorrow night. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) business is growing, and I simply can't take this weekend off. I will be getting out to the track for social time, and supporting Delk as I can. I'm going to use this weekend to catch up with people I've not seen for a while. I'll be working every night, but up and active after noon each day, if anything is needed, feel free to contact me.

cool Tony -
look me up when you get there and I'll put flyers out for the 5th -- we will be there late Wednesday night.
also, I'll be happy to introduce you to everyone!!...
er, I should say -- It will be an honor to do so.
Tim couldn't come -- I had a hard time wanting to do this by myself --
but we both agreed that it would be a good idea all around.
Work has been very slow for Tim's company -
now this week he is getting calls and he has to be here.
Like Steve says --- bad news -- but on the other hand... good news...
Tim may come on Friday night -- were hoping to do the SCMC dinner Sat. night but it all depends.
thanks!

let's see if I can attach some pics from the 40th.
If these show up, you'll see Carroll Shelby who we ran into just before the opening ceremony. I got my picture taken with him in regular film.
Should two pics of my Mystic, one includes my wife, Jen who graciously put up with me dragging her all over the place to see more Mustangs.
Should be a picture of a (94-98) Cobra that I found with a front spoiler. Why? I want to know if anyone thinks it would provide any extra front downforce or is it just for looks?
Last one should be the 05 wheel choices. Why? Most of us have seen the wheels on the left and right, but I don't think we've seen the "bullitt" wheel in the center. According to the Ford reps at the event, another option for the new Mustang. Cool!
