Dinner/Cruise-In - Texan SVTOA Monthly Meeting, Sat 1/10/04

Please join us this coming Saturday, January 10th, for our January gathering at the Sam's Club located on Hwy 6 and the Katy Fwy. Usual meeting time at Sam's is 7:00PM.

A few of us will be meeting for dinner prior to heading to Sam's. We will meet for dinner at 5:00PM at Los Cucos located on Clay Rd. near Hwy 6. (map provided below)

how many people venture out to Sam's and is it ok with the local law enforcement that we do that??

There is an existing group that hangs out at Sam's. It is the same group that used to hang out at the Firestone on Hwy 6. To my knowledge, the group has the premission of Sam's to be in the parking lot. I hear that is it pretty controlled. Ricers are turned away in lieu of American Muscle... :) This is new for us but I hear its a pretty happening place.

By the way... You do not have to be a "member" of the SVTOA to come hang out... We are just trying to meet and be social at least once a month with other SVT junkies :)

I may try to make it this weekend?... yes, this is the same group that used to meet at the Firestone near my place. It is very controlled, in fact; there is always a local Sherrif's department dude there at all times.

I think that group that hangs out there is called the HWY 6 cruisers, this is where I met andy and got involved with South Central. It is a good place to show cars on Saturday evenings. I will try to show up also.

I would have loved to come out. Little CC's Dad is having her bday party on Saturday at his house, and my Car Club (Space City Cruisers) is having thier Christmas Party that night... so I wont be able to come out. I would have loved to come out for this.
Hopefully sometime soon, I will be able to venture out that way....and maybe Sherri can put me up for the night? ;) lol....just a thought! :thumbsup:
