Back from the NAIAS - Shelby, GT....caution, may cause uncontrollable drooling

Yup...I made it to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last week....remebered to take the elcheepo digital camera to be able to tease everyone....it was hard to get decent phots, there were so many people there, especially crowded around the Ford display....2005 Mustang, Shelby Cobra and the GT all in a row sporting matching Silver metallic paint with the light silver stripes....no only to win the lottery and have one of each.

The Shelby was incredible...who needs wipers, roof or frills and gadgets...just give me the wind in my hair and the sound of raw power

And of course the GT.....testosterone from the blue oval....[

...but I did leave a puddle of drool at the Chrysler display.....the Four-Twelve is awesome.....V12, 4 turbo......hold me back I feel the pull to the darkside

It was unbelievable........like a kid in a candy store....
One observation.....the new GTO....~shrug~ ...So What.....I'm not impressed!

Dave you know that I have been in the GT (Petunia to me), the Ferrari, the Lambo, the 05 mustang and the Cobra (it will always be Daisy to me). In fact I have driven them all as well.....tough job but someone has to do it.

If you were nicer to me at Gingerman I probably could have arranged a test drive in a GT. Wait, you never asked did you. If you would have let me know you were coming I could have brought you into the office and you could have sat in one as well. Too bad, that would have been cool.

Brian I didn't know you were still pissed at me for wrecking out before you could take it for a drive...I thought the loose passenger seat trick was enough to get even with me ~lol~

I'll be back up next week all week with guys from the Plant.....6-sigma training all week. Let me know if you want to get together for a brew some evening.

And I'll take you up on the GT ONLY if I get to ...... you know *wink*
