Street with some track?? Street - weekend cruising and traveling to the track. Track - 3 or 4 events this year maybe more next year. Car now has H&R race springs, Tokico 5-ways, MM suspension (CC plates, TA/PHB, LCAs), urethane bushings through out.

Any way it could be modified to come on and off like the '00R?

That looks great.........

The 2000R front splitter flaps up and down at high speeds and owners have hand to reinforce the splitter. How does SinisterStangs hold up under the same conditions?

We ran the new nose at VIR with great results at over 150 mph!We had also panned the air under the car with aluminum and attached at the support! James said he especially felt the downforce under braking!

If anyone here is interested?, I have a fabricator who made us a mold of the 2000 R splitter, and he just finished making me one out of carbon fiber. It is at my painter's shop now being painted to match my car. It is light and reliable at high speed.

Let me know if you are interested in having one made. He can also make it out of fiberglass if you are on a budget and do not wish to shell out the bucks for a cf piece.

OK You have a 96 and a 98 interested, so what about a 97? Can this be adapted to fit out cars? Cost in fiberglass?

You have the same front bumper Rick.

OK so I am feeling a little stupid right now. The 96-98s have the same front bumper as a 2000R??

No.
The 96-98 uses the same bumper.
We need a 2000R splitter (removable type) that will fit the 96-98s.

OK Pearson got me confused. I knew that the 96-98s had the same front end. I doubt that a 2000R splitter will fit.

I will check with the fabricator when he returns from vacation next week. I will let you guys know what the scoop is at that time? Be aware that there will be a additional charge added to the total to help Joe and myself recoup the cost of making the mold. I will get with my partner and we will decide how much to mark up each one and I will let you all know asap.

Are you guys sure this thing will fit on a 96-98 Cobra bumper??? remember too that you will need to drill holes and install the DZUS springs on the bumper itself.

The one for your car will not fit the 96-98 Andy. I thought you said earlier that your fabricator could make one for the 96-98. I guess I'll make one here in the garage.

I was just hoping the fabricator had something (like the R splitter) that would fit the 96-98s.:(
