I'll be coming back from a 'conference' in the Bahamas that weekend and can't make it.:( If I wasn't flying then, I'd hope for rain so I could make the rain date.;)

Sounds like a great opportunity to learn some detailing.

I hate retail!! I have to work that Sunday, as I am going to the great state of Texas on the 23rd. I won't return until the 29th, so rain date will not work either. I don't know if I will ever get to hang out with all you guys. One day, one day.

Isn't it behind Lowe's Motor Speedway, a mile or so down the road beside the speedway. On the left, beside Jeff Gordon's shop? Someone else chime in here.

RJ,

Dale is setting this up for us specifically. We have Feb 28 as drag day, March 13-14 at CMP and March 21 as detail day and then comes autofair two weeks later. Pretty full schedule for me anyway but you all have fun. ;)

Thanks,

Tony

I thought Gordon's shop(Hendrick Motorsport) was on the opposite side of Hwy 29 from the Speedway. I think that is next to the old Alan Kulwicki race shop.

this from the Zaino Man

Jeff,
Looking forward to next Sunday! If I could get them to do it, would it be
appropriate for Olthoff Racing to bring a Superformance roadster or coupe
to this event? I don't know how much room Dale has there, and would not
want to diminish the SVT Cobra Club's event in any way. I might also be
able to get a paint protection film person there.

Participants need to bring the following:
Enough towels to dry the car one time
One towel for use while claying
One towel each for use with Z-6 and Polish removal
A clean 12oz or greater capacity spray bottle for clay bar lubricant

If any of the participants would like me to prewash micro fiber towels
and have them ready for use, then I can certainly do that. They can read
about these at dftowel.com. My prices are slightly lower than the ones at
the web site because the towels in stock were purchased before the most
recent price increase. Prices are $12.35 for the medium (29x16) and
$17.90 for the large (36x20). Those who would like towels should e-mail
me directly at: cashine@juno.com.

So, who's coming?

I've got me, Ed. B., Lisa and C., Big Daddy, Robbie, Venomous

Let's get it going here. I'm sure after the sand at CMP, and the rain today, there are some dirty Cobra's out there.

I have a request from the left coast <-------.

Could you guys jot down any Zaino tips or if you get any handouts regarding Zaino and make them available to the rest of us Zaino users?

I've already printed all of the stuff from Zaino's web site but I thought that if the rep tells you anything mind altering we'd all like to know.

Thanks

PS TAKE PHOTOS!!!

Looks like i won't be able to make it after all. No Cobra to drive!!! Neither one has a current tag on them and i have no time to put one on it. :( Wish I could make it. I was all excited to get to hang with the SCMC. Maybe I will just drive the old GT up there?? :dunno:

Just a big thank you to Dale and his team at Custom Performance for allowing us to come to the shop and detail our cars. We'll be the center of attention at the Autofair thanks to Steve Treece, our Zaino Rep, and the professional dent remover rep from "Dent Wizard".

We had a great time teasing each other and learning how to claybar our cars!

Thanks to Jeff for setting this up for us!
