Hey Ladies! :D The south doesn't always have the best weather, but I do like it when it's WARM! It's been so bad here - raining and cold that when it FINALLY warmed up yesterday I HAD to wash my car. Unfortunately, I got home so late that I had to wash it in the dark  I saw the places I missed this morning. It's still a ton better than it was before, though. :D
Kim, please tell me how you got color in your fonts.

and, the font thing is easy, just to up above the box, click the box that says color , then put a few words in there, then enter it, and then ya got color!
if you want to change the size of the font you can also do that as well --- just go up to the font, click it, pick the font you want, type in a few words and presss ok.
then, put it in your entry... cut out the words you want to have a different font and color and then
ya have a different color and different sized font !!!! just remember, if you want it bold to
and you can keep on [B]
adding and adding and adding ...... [/B just remember, if you want it bold to put the B and B before ande after ----
p.s. I left extra B's up there so that you can see what I bee talkin' about hurray !!!!

Hey there, I'm definitely a Cobra lovin' woman, big time! Please bear with me, I'm not the best at this message stuff yet, but practice makes perfect, right! My Cobra is still in storage for the winter, March is pretty unpredictable here in Minnesota. I absolutely love that car and can't wait to get it back on the road, probably by the end of April. Been driving my truck for the winter. Nice truck but sure not the same as the Cobra. :)

I'm glad I live here in the south :D My cobra is a daily driver  Although, I want to get a bad weather car. The problem is besides the cobra, we have a truck and two college kids with cars! The insurance alone on 4 cars is a nice hunk of $$ :doh2: My daughter graduates in one more year - maybe then. :dunno:

Yeah, sometimes I wonder why we're here in MN when its snowing and -25 below zero. Guess its home though! No kids for me, just 4 Pekingese dogs and 2 horses. I use my truck to pull my horse trailer. My Cobra is my daily driver too, (in the summer), what a nice ride to work.

its not quite as cold here in the Chicago area, but we received a nice dusting of snow at our new home --- time to take a picture of our backyard...
yesterday, six good sized deer walked thru our yard.... awesome!
I used to see them all the time when I rode in the forest preserve very close to here --- but now, its wild seeing them walk right thru our back yard

I love the names of your birds! I've got cats too so birds wouldn't last too long. We live on 8 acres so there's a lot of wildlife around. I have my horses at home so I do chores every morning and night. I used to show my Arabian in hunt seat and dressage but now we just trailride. I also have a Norwegian Fjord. He's pretty cool, just the opposite of my Arabian in temperament. We just got a couple inches of snow during the night, the wet, heavy stuff. Makes the trees look so pretty! Just enough to get my truck dirty, I'm very anal about keeping my vehicles clean. I'm also a long distance runner, completed 13 marathons. I'm kind of addicted to that I think! I'm going to the Car show this weekend, its in Minneapolis, I'm excited to see the new Ford GT! Thanks for the welcome to Cobra Ladies, I'm new to posting messages so I'm trying to get the hang of it!

Pam --
let us know if we can help you with anything --- we've been doing this for awhile.... I've been here since SCMC was about six months old and watched this forum improve thru the years...
cool !
you have a Nor. Fjord!
I love them they are so beautiful! I also had an Arabian for awhile --
I've had mostly Quarter Horses though
One of our members, Dave has them, or something very similiar,,, let me see if i can find him and we can get a discussion going on here about our four legged friends!
I used to show also -- our daughter grew up in 4-H. After she married, we retired our Quarter Horse to a farm in Iowa. Her Quarter horse (a cutting horse) went to a college in Kentucky..
we sure do miss them!
One of my new neighbors actually used to own the farm at one of the barns we used to board at....
the barn we boarded at for 10 years was burnt to the ground about two weeks ago... purposely --- to build expensive homes.. we knew it was coming, but it was depressing. the owners, whom we were close to, retired and moved to Colorado... :(

Thanks for the offer to help, I think this club is so cool and what a neat way to get to know people all over the country! I just sort of dived in and hit the reply button and started typing. My first message was to Tony about the new merchandise of which I am sporting on my truck! Every so often I visit the forums and select the option of all new posts just to see whats new. I've never done anything with the Yahoo Groups before and forums so this is all new to me. I love talking cars, horses or dogs so this is great!

Horses are cool, but I've never been around them much. I have two "mutt" dogs - one is half lab/half chow. Her name is Velvet and she's a beauty and a really good dog. The other dog is Amelia (Emmy for short). She's a mess! Some genius mixed a beagle and a siberian huskie
This club is SUPER!! I wish we could attend more events and that there were more members in Alabama. I don't even see too many Cobras on the roads here. I'm always looking, though, and every time I have the opportunity, I tell someone about SCMC. The cars are awesome, but the people are absolutely the BEST!!

Hey there! Erik, my Norwegian Fjord is a hoot! He's so cute, and yes, very stout! Riding him is like having your own personal thigh master! :D He's not broke to drive, maybe someday. Cobrizo is my Arabian, very nice to ride, light in your hands. I do like the temperament on the draft horses. This has been a great winter for Erik, lots of cold and snow, he absolutely loves it, but the poor guy really suffers in the summer when it gets humid. I soak them both with the garden hose for relief. Do you have Friesians? I love them, they are beautiful!

Right now I'm researching putting an exhaust on my truck, would love for it to sound cool. Also looking for some neat things to personalize my Cobra. Nothing too major, just some things I can do on my own, been checking out the Steeda website for ideas. I have a brother with a '71 Boss and Bullitt so he's helpful too. I'm just having a blast!

I used to be able to spend more time on it (BB)
, but the past few years have been very busy for us, between our daughters marriage, our son about to graduate from high school and go to UTI -- moving to a new location (not far, just more land)
we need a fence!
We need our lift back in the garage, so that we can have the 3 'Stangs in there again.
We are going to build a 3 car in the backyard - and there is a 1 car back there, but we need to put in a driveway first ....
we just had an estimate yesterday from a fence co.
-- white vinyl - picket....
$16,000 ....
:jawdrop:
looks like were gonna have to do that by ourselves also ---
heads up -- !!
be cautious with Steeda --- do lots of investigating first before you make any major changes... just a heads up warning -- o.k.? I'm not sure how they are now, but we had troubles in the past -- as well as many of our close friends..... I do not have any desire to cut them down -- just a caution just in case....
do lots and lots of research before you modify!! :bounce:

Will do, thanks for the head ups! I appreciate it. Any thoughts on the alum. letters on the rear bumper? I'm not sure yet, they do look neat but concerned about their staying power/adhesive. I'm not going to mess with the engine at all, I know nothing about that and besides, its go plenty of HP for my needs!
Wow, 16K for a picket fence, ouch! I keep trying the lottery, no go yet! :doh2:
We put in a chain link when we moved into our house, keep in our four Pekes, but thats not a pretty as a picket. And my husband fenced for my horses. Always something to do, keep you out of trouble!

I have the Scott Winger letters on my '98 --
let me see if I can round up a few pictures ---
I love them and get lots of complements and they are very high quality....
:bounce:
I took Trigger to a show a few years ago and it was a horrible 100 degrees out --- the letters have stood up to the cold, the heat and everything in between!
We had chain link fence at our last house (black)
--- but Tim doesn't want it here - he wants either split rail or white vinyl picket or crossbuck --- we shall see!
I also miss my Pear tree and my willow tree... the trees here are huge, but they aren't as healthy as mine were......
gotta work on that also! We have those funny little lady bugs and box elders everywhere ---- gotta work on that too...
