Woke up this morning to about 1-2" of snow on the ground with it still coming down like a raging storm. Weather Man predicts around 4-8". Can't ever tell about them predictions though. Was told there would be 6 inches one time with nothing to show.:( Hopefully the snow won't turn into a 2" sheet of ice on the roads for a week like it did last time.

We are supposed to go see that new movie "The Passion of Christ" tonight. If it don't let up we might not be able to go. I have been wanting to see this movie for a long time and a little snow ain't going to stop me. Is anyone else going to see it??

argg, I just got home from work. It took 1 hour to go 8 miles. It seemed like everyone wanted to go home all at once. I almost did not get the car up my driveway. It is gravel, and had not been driven on. Wee, I am off tomorrow.

The 3 snow plows in our county wil be busy.:D This snow will really mess things up around here. I would guess 7" so far. Matt, when it snows like this here we have to wait for it to melt to get our road cleared. :rotf:

It used to give me that option, but it doesn't now. When I hit post reply at the bottom where it says forums rules. It says you can not post attachments.

thought I might get to work this AM, I had 10 paying students from around the country, left at 5:30 AM, got the truck stuck 100 yds. from the house at the entrance to my cul-de-sac. spent the next hr. getting it un-stuck and beached in front of the house. Figured it was an omen. gonna go lite a fire and it's 5:30 somehere right?

I just heard you are suposed to get 18 inches in Raleigh  that is a decent amount... it's what we got for our first storm of the season. Thing is, we have hundreds of plows. good luck digging yourselves out!

we ended up with 15+ inches, don't have a measuring device. I tried to get in the garage, but she got stuck where she is. That is my wife's '04 Escape. She loves it.

I feel bad for her. There she was trying to find a spot to do some business. I guess I will have to shovel out an area for her. She was having a blast yesterday, when there was only 8 inches on the ground. She is 13, and acts like she is 1 when the snow starts falling. She will plow her nose through the snow, and roll around like no tomorrow.
