March 26, 2004 – Cincinnati, Ohio
Dark Knight Racing / Hyper-Performance Motorsports announce their partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundationâ for the 2004 and 2005 racing season. The number 46 American Iron Extreme 1995 Mustang Cobra "R" will be wearing the Make-A-Wishâ logo at the races and as it attends special events, raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundationâ throughout the next two years.
David Diehl, Owner/Driver of the #46 Mustang stated, "I am excited with the prospects of having the Make-A-Wish Foundationâ as our benefactor for the next few years. It gives our fans, sponsors and others a way to give something back to our community as well as being able to grant a few wishes for some very deserving young kids along the way."
The Dark Knight Racing Cobra Mustang will be competing in the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Ohio/Indiana regional division with races at Putnam Park, Indiana; the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course; Gingerman Raceway, Michigan; and Beaverun Motorsports Complex, Pennsylvania to name a few.
