All I can say is we had a blast. I do not have a lot of pictures but they will get here sometime this week by our club photographer, Snapps!
I hope others will chime in here and elaborate a little more and tell us what they liked or didn't like about the event. I know many of you were concerned about the AX in the rain but when we put up the good pics, you will see that we didn't let that stop us.
Thanks to all that made this event a success.

Hey Tony,
Had a great time at the car show, talked to some people that I had just communicated with on the website in the past. I wished the Zaino distributor had been there. O well just ordered some stuff at their website. Wished I could have been there earlier but timing wasn't right.
see ya     :fordflag:

Back from the 5th Anniversary!
Hi Tony,
We just got back too and we passed Bonnie & Tim about 2 hours out of Chicago.
First, we enjoyed the Fifth Anniversary Celebration! We would like to thank you, the anniversary committee, the SCMC officers, for their time and efforts in organizing this event. We got do to some things that we have not done before such as white water rafting and running the Dragon in the rain. Best of all, we got to meet a lot of great people and to see their "rides". Everyone was friendly and willing to discuss what they had done to their Cobra's. John Clor was an good speaker and I plan on dropping him a thank you note. We walked away from this week with a new found desire to increase the power and performance of our car. It helps when two people in our Dragon Run could pull away from me when I was running all out! Next time I promise we will "run" the Cobra in the Drag and Autocross events.
Thanks for you time and efforts again.

Thanks to everyone involved. This was the first SCMC event I was able to go to, and I had a great time. Hopefully next year I will be able to do drag racing and AX. LOTS of good looking stangs there!

Wow what a great time Patches and I had. Thank you for putting on such a great event. Running the Tail of the Dragon was great and the skyway also. The autocross was a blast even in the rain. Since this was the first time I had a chance to put my car thourgh it paces it was a great leaning experience. Thanks again to Tony,Lisa, Steve , Rich, Jeff, Greg, Pat and all the others who made it work.:D

Enjoyed it Tony.
Only 1 thing I saw that I believe you had no control over was no PA system for you guys.
Thanks for a great show, and all the folks who made it happen. It is a lot of work. :)
I am proud to say I brought home 1st place in the Z class.

The city charges you for a permit to have a PA and since we wanted to keep cost in line, we opted not to pay them the $250.00 for a permit. :D

Robbie and I had a great time but we usually do when we get with the Cobra family. For those that have never been please try to come out to the next Dragon Run it is wonderful. Running the Dragon in the rain is a little scary because Robbie will have to patch the hole in the floor on the passenger side and the dents where I was holding on for dear life.......Congrats on the award Tony and Jacque you guys deserved that(that was hard to say something nice about Tony). It seems everytime gets a little better. It was great seeing everyone again and also meeting new people, too.
We enjoyed the pics.......
See ya

Tina, and I had a great time! Thanks to Tony, Lisa, and the rest of the gang that help put on this event. I think this is one of the best vacations I have been on in a long time, aside from the rain. I have tons of pictures, and I will share when I get them sized down.
oh, and Lisa, tell C I found a Granada down by me. It is sitting in a driveway with no tags. He might be interested.

hey, I took the one of "snaps", and the one of the Kenny Brown cars. As far as how much the Granada is, I don't even know if it is for sale. It doesn't have tags, so I don't think it is being used.

Hi guys, remember me from last fall's run?!
I came up with a couple other Mach friends Saturday and we conquered the Dragon a few times, then drove up to Pigeon Forge to try to find you guys! We found your beautiful snakes all in rows outside the hotel and drooled a bit, then stepped inside and saw you were in your banquet so we left ya alone. Saw 2 more blue Machs outside and I swear my car's heart skipped a beat - she thought she'd found her long lost cousins! :bounce:
If you don't know already, there's a ton of pics of you guys posted over at killboy's site... specifically http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventframe?event=04RK002T00&start=0&ts=1088735217
Me and a DSG Mach beat it up several times on Saturday, lots of pics at http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?EventFrame?event=04RK002T07
I would love to have made the run with you this time, but I'll plan to crash the October party for sure! You guys are looking great, keep it up!

Excellent Pics Mike and Tina. I didn't see that you had pics of the Mystichrome on the dragstrip....cool.
Very good pics from the white water rafting too.
The plan is that Jack will have 1065 pictures on a DVD with video and we will be making an SCMC 5th Anniversary DVD for those that want to purchase one. Cost will be around $20.00 to members. We certainly have to compensate Jack for his time and expertise. We'll keep everyone posted on the progress of the DVD. I should have a copy by the weekend.
