I just get this thing painted and when we went to put it on, the 4 studs did not fit very well, and this is an actual Ford Racing part, not some cheap knock off, then when we got the 4 main stud bolt on, the hood was out of alingnment and we had to jerryrigg the thing around a bit just to get it to close, has anyone else put a Ford Racing Cobra "R" hood on? If so I would like to here your story and how you fixed it. thanks Dave

Sorry to hear of your troubles but would like to see some pics of what your hood looks like. I have the R wing and would consider changing the hood also and interested in seeing what it looks like.

Yes I put the "R" wing on the car too with my stock hood and it just did not work, the look is night and day, I would for sure do the hood, tell me how to up load a photo on here and I will get a couple up soon as I can. :)

Just go to the "manage attachments" when you hit the reply button and it will let you select your photo from your computer.

On all body replacement part(s). I recomend fitting them on first before painting , to check for fit. Saves messing up new paint.
