SRT-10 Viper truck

My friends dad collects cars he has a 04 cobra and a bunch of classics the other day he brought out his SRT-10 dodge viper pick up truck. We were rolling from about 45 he tacks it and takes off i hit 3nd and i catch up with him i gun threw 3rd and hit 4th i am a car length in front of him i decide to slow down i am doing 120 at this time. I thought these things were spose to be fast? It did not impress me at all. Does it not have any TQ? He said that he had it to the floor. What is up with these things? why did i beat a "500 HP truck" lol

Where you in your friend's 04 cobra or your 99 cobra?? Either way I am surprised . I always thought they were fast too!!! :eek: :eek: They look very heavy though. A big :thumbsup: for the kill.

I was in my 99. I thoguth these things were fast. Maybe low in get up in go? he had somebody with him in the other seat and i coudl hear the guy yell "WTF" lol i was really really suprised. I figured if i lose then it is no big deal i lost to a 500 hp truck but if i win that is major bragging rights. needless to say he went home and got his dads charger and came back to town lol it was a sad night after that. but i had my hour of glory.

I killed one of those trucks at the 1/4mile drag strip the other day. He was running mid to low 14's and I was mid 13's.......This being run at 5,280 foot altitude so times and speeds are reduced from sea level. I was less than impressed with the trucks performance.

I saw scortLX smoke the viper truck today. I am starting to wonder what is up with this truck. I saw them gun it and the scort just passed it and the SRT-10 was really getting on it. i do not under stand but nice kill scortLX post about it next time. you shoudl be proud you smoked a 500 hp truck lol i know i was.
