Need your opinion!!

Should we have a "top 25" show at the Fall drag day in Jackson? In other words, the top 25 cars will win an award. I'm thinking to do a show/drag combination. What do you think about it?

People who are not showing or dragracing, will still have a spectator fee and some of that $$ will go toward the pot. (Depends on turnout of course)

We can also open it to vendors if that is a good idea too?

things to consider:
are people going to run AND show?-- probably not

will having a show bring in people who wouldn' t necessarily go to the drag day? - yes, possibly

who is willing to work the show portion? -- dunno- i will if we don't run, but it will take more than 2...

This is a great idea. I think it will make this event a lot larger and get more spectaters as well. Where do I sign up... :) We could have a specail class for cars that are racing. Maybe a popular vote class where it won't matter how much rubber is stuck to the rear fenders!! :D

I think that would be a great idea!
Let me know the details if you decide to do the show/dragday, I may show my car since I'm not running it, but it's still stock!
