I have about 3500 miles on my 03 cobra convertible and everytime I take it for a sunday drive, I notice a film of brake dust on the rear bumper and almost the whole rear facia. Since the car is white, it really shows out. Is that common with Cobras and is there a remedy?:flush:

Yoou could try running a different type of pad on the rear. Try a ceramic or some other materials.:)

It's a thought, but since these are the original pads and I have only had the car 2 months, I guess they'll have to stay for now. thanks anyway.

I get the same thing on my 04 coup. There is lot of turbulent air in the back of the car and it will just settle on the back surfaces. It washes off easily enough. I would not go with a hard compound brake pads. That will eat up the rotors faster.

I got my Birth Certificate today. It's #1473 of 3768 car built. Born on 1/16/04.
