i just got an 04 cobra and im soon gonna take it in for an oil change.when i was at the dealer buying my cobra:) i decided to pay for lowjac an underbody coating a coating for the interior and a never have to wax again treatment ford offers.this treatment the dealer told me is some kind of clay they put on after they soaked the car in something so it sticks to the paint better.thery also said it protects the paint and after u wash the car it looks like its waxed.they also said it would last for life.ive been hearing that this isnt all they say it is and u still have to wax the car,not that i mind waxing it but im not to comfortable having them put something on my cobra that is meant to stay for life and isnt what they say it is.if anyone knows what this treatment does or anything about it could u email or post a response.thnx

Personally, when I bought my 04 Mystichrome, I wouldn't let the dealership touch my car. I took off the white plastic from the car and wouldn't let them wash it. I've seen too many new cars with swirl marks or scratches from their waxing. Today, my car still does not have a scratch or swirl mark and I put Zaino on it!

Your mileage may vary... :)
