Do I need to do anything to it special? You wax your car but, what do you do with the top? Should I spray it with a protectant? First time Vert owner..so, let me know!

I never did anything for my convertible Saleen and the top held up fine it just faded. I believe that they do make protectant specifically for vert tops. Do a search and see what you come up with.

I would highly suggest a car cover and not to leave it out in the elements without one. If you have a garage then that's a plus!

It took me several years before I got one but, boy do I love it. It's just one in an apartment complex..so, it's not huge but, it does the trick. I can't wait to buy a 4 car garage house with 1 bedroom!!! :D

Oh yeah...where in Maryland are you SVTcobra04??

That white vert looks sweet. I don't see many of those.

I was thinking about Scotchguarding my ragtop, or using that 303 Aerospace protectant, but it seems to be holding up well without it. I might try that stuff in the last link, thanks for posting that.

A company called Raggtop makes cleaner/protectant kits for vinyl and cloth tops. Just traded my 2001 on a 2004 with 6800 miles. The top is different on the 2004. It looks like cloth as verifed by another post here. If you want you snake to maintain more of it's value, take good care of the top. You may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere, but here it is:http://www.worlduph.com/topcare.htm
