I just picked up a 2003 SVT cobra, 12,000 miles(screaming yellow). I traded in my WS6 Trans Am. I can't believe the power diffrence:headbang: .
I am looking for some advice for some first mods to the car. It already has the cold air intake. And 18" rims.
I am looking at a new shifter, Cat back, subframe connnectors and maybe a pully change.
Any help would be great.

Congrats on your new Cobra! There are many shifters to choose from, but it seems that the MGW is the one to get. For cat-backs, there are tones as well. Typically flow-masters, borla, or bassani, but I like the SLP Loudmouth Exhaust the best which is what I now have on my 04. I probably will not change the pulley on it until the basic warrenty runs out. Have fun with your new car!

Ok I feel the need to tell everyone this. I got up today at 6 a.m. on my day off just to go drive my 03 Cobra. What a ride. I did not care for the seat at first and the "reach" for everything. I am 6'4" 235. Tight squeeze but well worth it.
Out here in Vegas we only get 91 oct gas($2.51 gal). Do I need to add a oct boster to it??? A friend of mine said that a chip/re progaming will help with the power band(smoothness of holdong the power) between shifting. Is this true??
Going to the SEMA show later today and all day on Wednesday. Any products for the Cobra I should look into.
