some of u have probley already read this reply in another section of this forums just thought id put a thread up here

I was going to put (probley bassani) headers X or H(havnt decided yet)and a cat back.also wanted to put on a CAI.Im not shore if my dealer will allow it under the warrenty so im gonna call them when im completly shore what im gonna get.because i dont want to mess up the warranty i bought. can I and should I get something signed by the dealer saying they approved these mods under the warrenty so later on when i go to get warrenty work done they dont say no because its modded(we all know how some dealers can be).Any ideas on mods or brands to go with would be greatly apriciated.thnx

I'm no expert, but the way I understand it is the dealer cannot void the warranty unless the mod is proven to cause the problem that arises. Things like exhausts, TB, CAI should be safe. Once you swap the pulley and reprogram the computer all bets are off. I don't think they can tell if you use a programmer as long as you switch the car back to stock tune before bringing it in. I think they can tell if you swapped the pulley enen If you put the stock pulley back on.

I was talking to a Enginer from SVT at the SEMA show this week here in Vegas. He told me they can tell if you used a programer even if you set it back. He also told me that the only mods you can do to the car w/o voiding the warrenty are cold air, mass air and any exhaust after the STOCK exhaust manifolds.

Weither this is true or not, that is what he told me.

I'm not saying these are the best but I went with the Steeda CAI and the Magna Flow X-Pipe and Catback. Happy with both. I based my decision on price and preformance.

I have the Steeda CAI(its OK) Bassani X pipe and catback(IMO if you want to be heard than go with the bassani!) It is well worth the price for the fit and finish.

Magnaflow from head to toe. Performance/cost. They perform. Period. Make your own thoughts about sound.
