O.k. - guess I need to step up to the plate. Here goes:

36 lb. fuel injectors, ProM 80mm MAF (36# & SC calibration),

Yup - that was a nice dealership. And a very interesting ride - considering we had to keep the windows down 2". We couldn't open the doors with the trailer that we had. So I had to put it on the trailer with the top left open - then, climb out -
then close the top using the 2" space that we left.

On the way down there we had our GT on there. I had to ride inside of it because it kept on raining. Climbed in - closed the window and went for a ride in a GT on the back of a trailer! (We traded the GT for the Cobra). Anyway - that was, well, interesting. BUT WORTH IT!

Don't worry Lisa - we try to make a trip down there at least once a year. I wish we would've met sooner !

Only when we hit the mountains -
that's when it started to rain and we didn't want rain getting inside the GT -

so I reached in through the gap -
opened the convertible top -
climbed in -
shut the convertible top and the windows and rode for several hours. It was either that or stay underneath a bridge somewhere. Once you put that car on the trailer you cannot open the doors.

If it would've been a coupe - it wouldn't have worked.

It was really funny - I was trying to stay hidden so cops wouldn't see me. But I'd look out every now and then. Once, a boy in an Explorer saw me and he poked his Mom and told her there's somebody in that car !! Then I hid again. She probably told him he was seeing things.

Don't worry - the trailer that we have now has removeable fenders so that you can open the doors !

Got a new Show mod today--
a Roush trunk tool kit. it mounts under the deck lid and looks wicked cool!!
it has rouch/mac tools-wrenches,pliers, wrench, screwdriver, tire pressure guage, tread guage, leather gloves, and a silver medallion that has roush on one side and a cobra on the other. really looks awesome under there:cool: :cool: :cool:

I'll get a pic up asap. It seems i may have a Roush cobra before long!!!

had a whole new windshield put in I think they are what comes out on some newer cars, but not sure. we had a small road chip in it. it 'somehow' got bigger so the insurance replaced. Clarence does alot of business w/ the company that replaced so they ordered us the running pony windshield:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

the pedals look very cool, too. As does the tool kit!!!!

Our daughters GT came with the running pony windshield.

It's kind of neat - it would look awesome on Trigger too.

Clarence said that the winshield was about $400, installed. Course our insurance paid for it:D :D :D :D :D

the crack had to be larger than a dollar bill in size to be replaced.........

The lady that runs the shop talked him into it saying that if she had a mustang without one that she would put it in.

Since I went ahead and posted this in the wrong thread, I'll go ahead and post it here (thanks Bonny ;)).

My long list of modifications consist of:

custom aluminum vintage Cobra shift knob
Cobra embroidered floor mats
replacement K&N airfilter

I really like the shift knob... I'd let everybody take a peak at it by taking a pic and posting it here, but I don't have a camera handy to take said pictures :(

I guess that could be put on my "modifications" list ;) ;)

Next week, Oil cooler, 3.73 gears, boost and fuel pressure guages in the a pillar guage pod, Aluminum Racing Drive Shaft and safety loop and a new strut tower brace (current one bangs on the top of the intake). I think that should do me until LATE this year or next year when I do the KB tubular k member, half shafts, rear differential cooler, front brake duct cooling system, roll cage and racing harness. I have the racing harnesses (sp??) but after reading another thread on here I decided I wouldn't install them until I put the roll cage in. Then when my warranty is gone I'll redo the internals after boring it out to a 302. :D When all is said and done I think I should end up with about 550 RWHP to 600 RWHP in a couple of years. :D :D :D :D

thanks girls! Who needs trunk space! I certainly didn't need the spare, cause the car is too low to get a jack under it anyways. LOL. So If I get a flat, I'm SOL, waiting for a flatbed towtruck!

The system sounds pretty good, doesn't even loose much sound when the top is down :thumbsup: , no trunk rattle either, ... I hate that. It just needs a few more finishing touches, (like the other speaker cover) then it's off to get the blower installed.

Well -

I'm afraid to say our last modification didn't last too long ..

however, we didn't plan it this way.

We took Sparks in one day for some small repairs .. Victor Ford Motorsports / Wauconda, IL

While waiting, I ofcourse cruised the lower showrooms where they keep the Saleens and the superperformance Cobra's.

Low and behold - there is this '99 Cobra staring at me - saying "take me home" ...
well, anyway -

I took a good look at it. Popped the hood, sat inside of it -
wow -
under the hood, on the name plaque !
It says the names RMP and Greg Holland - one built our former '99 engine and tdhe other built our '98 engine (half).

There are allot of other things about this car that drew us to it - if it would've been at any other dealership, I wouldn't even have looked. Anyway - they gave us a great deal on the '99 - lost a little on Sparks ofcourse, but in the long run - this car would not have lasted long. It is a definite keeper !!


I love it already !! So does Tim. It's awesome, just like Sparky. Just didn't cost as much as Sparky did originally ....

yeah its 250 powerstroke, 4x4 off road package, hmm.....lariat, cd, leather,

oh and it's really green, it looks black in the pic tho...

and will haul A** !! its got the turbo diesel so man... a friend has one and pulls a 28' loaded race trailer (tools, wheels and tires, car etc.) and says it pulls that at 100, NO PROBLEM!!:eek: :eek: :eek:

They're are actually quite a few turbo manufacturers. There's Incon, TDC, GReddy, AirResearch... to name a few ;);)

They're are actually quite a few turbo manufacturers. There's Incon, TDC, GReddy, AirResearch... to name a few ;);)

So which one is it BD? Did I get a turbo or a supercharger?

I do have a huffer...

The car it's on however,
Is really anybody's guess ;)

It's a snow plow !!

With way over 100,000 miles on it .. I saw it the other day, our brother in law bought it and he's taking very good care of it.!!

You just never know with me... I could've made the decision to make the Cavalier to an open track warrior... Cavalier 2.4L DOHC engine transplanted to the little silver Chebby with a big honkin' turbo on it and a custom intercooler :eek: :eek:

A Hummer would be nice to have... but unfortunately I don't have the money to afford one and this is wrong as well. Good guess though Bonny :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

This modification is new to me
Butt in fact very old.
It's one of those modifications
That wasnt really accepted into the fold.
