I'm curious as to what cleaner most of you use to remove the slick/DR rubber from your pipes after a day/night at the races. I've still got a good bit on the Stinger's tips after using a whole can of 3M's bug/tar remover. Ideas?

I generally use gasoline to clean the pipes off. Works great if they are just warm to the touch. That stuff will remove anything. For the rear bumper, I have seen several use masking tape to protect the painted surfaces. There may be other tapes out there with safe adhesives that will not stick to the paint too strong. I have been to the local track several times but have not run yet since I am missing a component (drive shaft loop). I have not taken the 04 to the track yet, but plan on it this comming spring.

Drive shaft loop: metal oval that is mounted to the vehicle close to the transmission to prevent flipping the car over if the yoke on the shaft were to break. NHRA safety device. Some tracks will check and not let you run if you do not have it. It looks like this:
