I'd be in...yet with the AutoRama killing the first weekend and the dyno the second....I'm not sure what else there is. X-mas falls on a Sat as does New Year's. The only weekend I see open is the 18th. Would be cool to get together drink some beverages...smoke some cigars(Enter Jimmy :D )..eat some finger foods(got wings??)....dress up kinda(don't think I've ever seen Phil in a collared shirt ;) ) and chat about things for 2005.

I'm down for it....I'd host it if I knew my parents would be out for the night so we could have the run of the place.

I'd be up for it later in the month. I'm dead in the water for Slaters and the Autorama though, as my car is going in the shop Monday for a total front to back suspension, differential, and tranny change out. On the 18th if I'm very fortunate, I'll be running the car over at Evadale Raceway, good lord willing and the creek don't rise, so that weekend will be sort of up in the air at this point...

Looks like my Dec just filled up as I have a X-mas party on the 18th that I go to every year. So unless we have it after the Dyno Day on the 11th, I'll be missing out. :(

If not than you will be missed....

another option is to have this party AFTER the holidays...maybe for our Jan meet. Instead of going to a restaurant go to someone's house, eat, mingle and enjoy ourselves. Maybe do a gift exchange....hmmmm....what to get....some Cobra stuff??...LOL. I think it'd be cool to get a nice group picture of all of us in something other than jeans and t-shirts. ;)

Thoughts??

The idea of a GTG after the Dyno Day does not sound bad.....If everyone is willing to do something like that..?

I have my company Christmas party that night. And I bet people won't come out for dyno day go home and come out again at night.

Another problem.... more people need to show interest to make this happen.

Have a Merry Christmas

We always hold our Space City Cruisers Christmas Party the first or second weekend in January, after all the holiday crap is over and people are more relaxed. Its always alot of fun, and everyone is just glad to be thru w/ the end of the year. Its our awards banquet as well, but its dubbed our "Christmas Party".
Its really not a bad idea. Specially w/ Autorama and then the holidays, and Company parties, December seems to get pretty much washed out for alot of people. Just something to think about. ;)

Wait...am I a kiddie? I would like to attend if it was maybe the Jan meet. We could designate it a misc holiday party. Kind of wrap christmas and new years all into one fun time. Any other time and I probably would be out, leaving right after christmas for a small vacation. But yea, I am totally interested.
