Well, I was approched by Mike and Tony about doing a GP for you guys here. I though it was a good idea, so here we go.
The details:
DATES: 11/28 through 12/12

GP will be on COMPLETE KITS ONLY and any of the paint services I offer in COMBINATION WITH A KIT. (pulley guard, door inserts,ect)
Meaning: CAI or RAI kit plus,The MAF adaptor kit and S&B powerstack filter. This is everything you will need to install a JLT in your car.

The discount will be as follows:

EVERYONE gets 10% OFF.


HOW TO ORDER:
Go to www.jlttruecoldair.com (http://www.jlttruecoldair.com/) and fill out the order form for what you want.
Put "SCMC GP" in the comments section .This way I know who's getting the discount.
You can also call in your order. Please besure to tell me it's for the SCMC GP.

I'm not sure, but I don't beleive the JLT kit will have any contact with the brace!
Jay could answer this better then me though, but don't they look sweet!:D

Sorry, but no way on the 96-97 STB.
I just ordered a Snow brace, I think it will fit, but not sure yet.

Tony..thanks for the pics! How hard to install? In particuliar the part that goes in the wheel well. Trying to decide between CAI and RAI.

Sorry.

As far as install. The best thing to do is pull the splash shield back. You can jack the car and crank the wheel to the left or remove it all togther. Everything is right there and easy to install.

I know some have done it with the Steeda and the K&N FIPK.

Would someone please explain what the MAF adapter in these kits is for ?

I understand what the MAF is/does, but curious what's being done to run an open element filter and why it's needed.

Thanks for any help.The MAF adaptor bolts to the square flange of your MAF too allow the use of a clamp on style filter.
Nobody makes a filter that just bolts to the MAF.

If your in stock form, you will need the adaptor and filter to make a complete kit.

For some reason I was assuming the functionality of the MAF itself was being altered.

Well I dicided that with Christmas coming, some of these may be gifts. So, I dropped the needing 10 orders and ALL ORDERS WILL GET 10% OFF!!:bounce:

I just ordered mine for Christmas...thanks to Jay for the GP!! I really appreciate it...and thanks to my girlfriend for ordering...or letting me order it with her money for me!! :thumbsup: :D

Now...once it comes..will I be able to wait until after Christmas before I put it on?? Or maybe I will go ahead and tear the car apart in anticipation!!
