Wow...what a day. Started at 12:00 at whataburger and ended at 7:15 PM.
First, I just want to thank all of the Participants and Sherry for this years Autorama. To have to take days off and committ your time and resources to this is greatly appreciated.

Carl-Thank you for setting up this whole gig and taking me home.
Edmond-Thank you for putting together the borders
Rachel-Thanks for co-ordinating with Mike and Larry in getting the Cobra R to the show.
Mike- Cleaning and driving the Cobra R.
Barry at Fordpower.net- You really came through with the signs man. WE OWE YOU A DINNER big time

This project took alot of effort to put together and I am very proud of the final Results. Also, just to let everyone know that next year 6 opportunities will be available to co-ordinate this project. With that being said, SCMC had 2 objectives for this years show.
#1. Provide a historical display of every body style of the SVT Cobra and some specialty SVT vehicles such as Cobra R and Pace Car.
#2. Recruit some new members that have a body style represented in the show.

The SCMC display has 1-93 Cobra, 2 from the 94-98, 1 Cobra R and 2 from the 99-04 Era.

In closing, if you go to the Autorama, please stop by and congragulate everyone that help put this together. THANK YOU.

Edmond, please post some pics in this thread. :D

I AM OUT.................LATE

Well, what can I say, how great a club is this that the members take the initiative to setup something as cool as this. John, Carl, Larry, Darrell, David, and Richard, along with Sherri and Mikes help, spent hours yesterday cleaning and shinning their Cobra's to represet and promote this club. Not to mention all the out of pocket expense they put into it.

Autorama, (as futile as it may be to compete againt some of the high $$ cars out there) is the Biggest show that Houston has, and our club is representing thanks to you guys, that goes to everyone who was willing to pitch in and enter the show, but, unfortunately, the 6 car limit threw a wrench in that.

We might not has the flashiest display there (god, some of those people must have spent 5k + just for their floor and rope off material), but we have the coolest cars :p .

Here are a few sneak peaks of my pics. I am glad Mike got some of the other angles to let ya'll know what it looks like.

Thanks to the guys in our group who offered to help carry the carpet out. I was able to drive the truck right into the arena after the traffic cleared a little and a nice fella from the other Mustang group next to us ran over to help load up. I need to thank him again...he said "I guess I'll see you at y'all's meeting Tuesday night" but I didn't get his name. Maybe was with the Extreme Fords group? Hopefully someone new who signed up with our club. ;)

That was me. Sorry, can't sign up. I only have a GT. :( I saw you load the first two and looked to see if help was coming but didn't see any so I thought I would lend a hand. Those Cobra owners sure are some prima donna's. :rotf: :rotf:

I came by on Sunday. Display looked really good. I think the matching signs, and the fact that you had sort of a history of Cobras added a bit more class than many of the other club displays.

Good Job guys, way to represent.
