he was probably one of my favorite guitarists. :( :( ..

a sad day indeed.

I'm sure most here are not familiar with him or a fan of his music, but he revolutionised metal, had a very unique sound, and he was from Texas.

I read that yesterday and thought it was a hoax, but apparently it was not. I still listen to Pantera and bought Damageplan's album when it cam eout just because a few of the band members from Pantera were in it. I'm pretty bummed about it, I thought he would go in a drug crazed overdose, not getting shot while he's playing a gig. :(

form the numerous news articles I read about it today, the guy parked, walked across the streat, hoped the fence in the back of the club, into the staff area, walked backstage, right onto stage, and started blazing at DD. :(

the stupid part is, the beilief is that he shot him because of a grudge about Pantera breaking up. Emmm HELLO, if you kill him, then they're never gonna get back together. :mad:

Yea that was some sad news I got last night.. He was a cool person.. If he saw you in the streets he would stop to say whats up.. As a friend and a Fan he will be missed.. Who would have thought someone would do such a disgraceful thing.. :( Later
