Just wondering if anyone has put in a set of cams in their 03'/04' Cobra? I've been looking at the Crower cams and was wondering if you replaced the springs and what cams you got? If anyone has these or has any info on this I'd really appreciate it!
Thanks in advance!:)

So what lifts do you have? Did you also have head work done or just put in some cams?

Video was sweet!

All of the cam info is propietary, they are custom grinds made for me by crower. Did a little head work. Ditchen' the KBell for a huge Whipple right now.

Do the head work first. Compliment the headwork with a good custom grind. Crower is a reputable company that should do it. You have a 2003 - 2004 MOD motor. Set it up. :)

Ouch :) KBell is a good choice for low end grunt. Actual powerband, though it fails for 1/4 mile work :)

In other words, what she said. :)

I've emailed Crower, but for now I'm going with the Whipple! I'll be installing it sometime around April 05' and then after that I'll be looking at the Port and Polished heads and a set of Cams. I'm looking at somewhere between 600 - 650rwhp!!

Don't know if you all have heard or not but Vortech has finished their supercharger for the 03/04 Cobra. In the new MM&FF, it was pushing over 700hp but at low rpms, it had over 100 less ft/lbs of torque. Now the decision I have to make is if I want to trade low end torque for high end hp (with the Vortech) or have low end torque and trade high end hp(Kenne Bell/Whipple). Have always been a Vortech fan but then again I have always been a Flowmaster fan but got Bassanis put on the car and fell in love with them.

I guess change can be good sometimes.:rotf:

3.3 Whipple? Are they available in Ford trim? I've got a video of one on a Holden Monaro running down under... whicked stuff.
