View Full Version : Rear wing on 03's
Anyone put a different wing on the 03. I seen a Saleen or Roush in a magizine but cant find it again. It was just like the stock wing but extended back a little more. thanks

I still have the stocker on mine, but there was one black 03 in the area that had a Saleen spoiler on it and they look really good. To get one you may be able to go through the website or you might have to go through a Saleen authorized dealer. The dealership I bought my Cobra at is a Saleen authorized dealer, if you can't find one in your area let me know and I'll get you their number.

Here is the link to the Saleen site for their spoiler, it goes for about $200.00 + shipping! Hope this helps!
Thanks for the replies. I believe the saleen is the one im looking for. The 00 S281 is like the 03 but comes back a little more than the stock one. thanks

How much ground clearance do you get with your front splitter? We've got a Cobra R on ours and only have 4.75". Not really enough for East Tennessee. We don't have the flattest roads in the country here.

Looks great Dave. Are those another set of lights out front towards the center?

They are little Piaa's, only about an inch and a quarter in diamiter, very bright,
I have basicly finished the car although the 550 H.P. decals are smaller now and in a differant font, and there is an American flag now over the cobra emblem on either side.
I have a 2.80 pulley as well as all the idlers, and there is a 90 MM aux-idler.
its Predator tuned, Magna flow catback and X-pipe, accufab throttle body, 95 MM mass air, K&N filter, 9X18 front wheels and 10.5 X 18 rears running Toyos, the car is lowered an inch and a half, I have shifter that I got from RPM Outlet but dont remember what kind it is, sence I am an old guy to the most of you (47) in my younger days we all ran the Hurst "T" handle with the push button by my thumb that in summer time with the AC on will disconnect the AC compressor for better accelleration while keeping cool air blowing over the AC core long enough until I let go of the button, its a great trick to by pass a horse power robbing compressor.
