Winter Event

I had an idea for a club winter event, to get us ready for the 2005 open track events.

What about a SCMC club day at KartZone. www.kartzone.net

I see that other car clubs have gone there. I don't know how much it costs, but it seems much more upscale than a regular go kart place. This is definiately an adult corporate event kind of deal.

This would be a cool gathering and would allow for actual racing, to see who is actually the best.

I have been to Kart Zone :thumbsup: and still have my "License" ( I think its like $1 to get your license to race there). Kartzone is definitely the nicest place in town for go-kart racing.

Henry!!! Fantastic Idea!!!

We did one of these events when I was active, with the Central New York Ice Racing Association...

What TOTAL BLAST!!!!

We had dinner and our awards ceremony at the same place after the cart event...

Carts were no where near as "state of the art" as these in Houston are...

But they did coat the track with soapy water, to create a slick track for us...

It was VERY FUN!!!

If I could ever afford to go road racing ....
