Well the New Year is upon us, and in January, we are planning on having two official get togethers for the weekends.

Jan 8th will be the club's Annual Member Appreciation Meet

Jan 22nd is the tentative Kart racing meet.

For the Jan 8th meet: we will be doing something unique for this month.
As everyone should know, anyone is welcome to come to our get togethers and events, whether you are an official club member or not. In January, however, we will be giving back to those who support this club the most, through their membership, by having our annual Member Appreciation get together. This meet, is the club's treat, another way for the club to give back to the members and their families, and say "thank you". After all, this would not be the great club that it is without its great members.

We will be emailing everyone's invite to them by January 1st, so please let us know if you do not get yours.

The Jan 22nd meet is still a work in progress, and everyone is welcome to attend and share the fun :bounce:.

Pick one and I will call and make sure they do not have a big group scheduled. Just show up and race.

The Kartzone, Indoor

2 Racers - $50 = $25 per driver
3 Racers - $60 = $20 per driver
4 Racers - $70 = $17 per driver
5 Racers - $80 = $16 per driver
6 Racers - $90 = $15 per driver

NEW! Weekend Race Pass. - 10 Arrive & Drive Sessions for $100, that's only $10 a Drive. Weekend Race Pass valid only on Arrive & Drives, same weekend of purchase and same driver.

Prices:
1 race: $17.50
6 races: $100 ($16.67 per race)
16 races: $250 ($15.63 per race)
36 races: $500 ($13.89 per race)
87 races: for $999 ($11.48 per race)

Stan, I have been to KartZone and like 10 people for $100 (hopefully we can at least get 10 to race, and they will honor that for more than 10)

But, I wanna check out track21 as it sounds like its huge and have never been there. I wonder if they will price match Kartzone or cut us a deal.

What does everyone else prefer?

Right on dude, thats what I was thinking and just wanted to know if anyone else was thinking the same thing? I wanted to talk to you on tue's SB, but with all the peeps coming out it was a little hard to pull away from the group for a moment to talk SCMC shop talk. :cool:

"Rally the troops" in San Antone, as much as us Houston guys can help out, you guys need to organize and get together as club members. All it takes is someone, or a few people taking a little time to plan things.. and fun follows :thumbsup:

It does suck that all the big cities around here are at least 3 hours apart.

sorry i couldn't make it to the meet. I tried to change out my x-pipe and ran into a bit of trouble. I unbolted everything except the front passenger side. Those damn things just wouldn't come off. By the time I decided to stop trying, it was already 5 so I just stayed home and watch football. Damn, got owned yesterday. :mad:

That sucks tam, I can totally relate because the same thing happened to me, and I had a hell of a time getting that one nut to come off.

Everybody was wondering where you were.... sorry we didn't get to see you.
