Fellow east coast enthusiasts,
I will be in Providence, RI in mid April for a conference and may need to rent a car for part of a week. If so, why settle for another compact or bland four door- why not seek out a '05 Mustang or even a Mustang GT? :D I rented a few mustang convertibles in the past... an excellent way to get away from the conference for an hour or so!
I see that the Hertz website lists the '05 Mustang as a standard vehicle but charges $60/day. There is a FORD dealership near Rrovidence that rents but I didn't see a mustang listed.
Anybody in the RI/MA area have any information on renting an '05 Mustang or a Mustang GT?

Thanks.

Well, if I get to go to New England this year...renting a GT will be the first thing on my list so I can go and show Pat & Dave how to run at an autocross. You know, beat those pesky New England members at their own track. :rotf:

You better hope that rental comes with driving lessons

And after we're finished at the autox....we can go to the drag strip...just to make it fair you bring your car and I'll use my skateboard...then you might have a shot. :p

If I can convince Tony to go up there for his "lessons", you guys can find an new GT to rent. ;)
Come on Tony, it'll bring back memories of driving that '69 fastback...
