Yeah no kidding..it's been dead around here...Since we can't go out and play with the Cobra's...I figured everyone would be in here talking about stuff! I know you guys down south have all that warm weather but, were..a bit cold and gloomy up here! Come on summer time!!!

Holy cow it was warm today, my mom of all people decided we would go for a long drive and she even left work early! Now thats unheard of!!!
Well I ended up getting my mom a liscense plate frame (chrome and says Mustang Gt), just put on the chin spoiler last weekend thing adds some nice detail to the car, and I also took out the old black scuff plates and put in some new brushed/satin that say "Mustang" and they look 100 times better.
I have been saving all my christmas money and what I get from my odd jobs and was thinking... a bad idea when I think without guidence (this is where you all come in).. Eather a JLT CAI or a Mac GT CAI kit for about 169.25, and some black inserts for the bumper. Can I put in the CAI on my own with my father and neighbor? We are not car experts but my neighbor knows his way around.
And lastly I know exhost will not be something I tackle soon but could someone list everything that is included in that. I am lost as to what I would need and how much I should be ready to spend, is there one kit that comes with it all, or what would be a good order to tackle that one step at a time.
Ok I lied this is the last thing, my friend just recently got a 97 cobra (I think) and had it in a shop close by and said they did a good job, but the only other place I know of that would work on a car is the midas.. and I think NAPA does some stuff. Do you know of any good shops around this area that do good work?
Ok well sorry this was so long but hey its good reading material for those long cold nights.. unless you have the benifit of snuggling up by the fire with a special someone...... ;) ;) As for me my special someone says I love my car to much ha like that is possable :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

This weather is making me grumpy!!! I have not driven the Cobra in a week.
I have serious acceleration withdrawl. My Honda simply won't do.
Oh well... Spring will be just around the corner :)

Are these the door sills you installed? http://www.precisionautoaccessories.com/mustang.html
I have been looking at them, but I can't decide between the brushed or polished ones.

Yes I did get those same ones just from ssinserts.com I went with the brushed cause the polished I was afrade would get to beat up on the daily driver, and the brushed seems to have a deeper color and I figured it would hide any scratches or dings. If I can get my link cable to work I will post some pics. of what they look like on the car. Only took me about 30 min... and thats cause I was paying more attention to the game on the radio.

I've already signed up for it but is anyone in the Mid-Atlantic group going to Carolina Motorsports Park next month? If so let me know, thanks, Jerry
SCMC on Track at Carolina Motorsports Park
I'm happy to announce that the SCMC will hold its annual driving school at Carolina Mototrsports Park on March 12-13, 2005. This is our third year doing this and each year the event grows and becomes more fun. We had a ton of Cobras at the this past event and we hope to continue the growth of Snakes at the track.
Thanks and hope we fill it up this year!
Tony

Just saying hi and I was wondering if anyone has ever made or seen someone who has or even if there is a company that makes a cup holder for the backseat. My gf loves riding in the car but since I still need an adult (untill June 24:( ) she gets stuck in the back and hates that there is no cup holder. So I was looking and the arch in the middle is perfect (between the rear seat and the center armrest/console) to put a single cup holder. Me and my dad have been looking and figure we could knock something out might try tomorrow, but does anyone sell something like this? Or has anyone ever made something like this?
