Well this is my goal as stated above. 600HP 04 Cobra by end of 2006. Yeah I would like it sooner but, money is going to dictate what happens. At any rate...I have the JLT RAI, Magnaflow C/B with Magnapacs and 4 inch tips on order..so, these will be on the car by mid Feb...probably sooner. Next step is probably a 2.80 RR upper pulley. Magnaflow X-pipe to follow..and then a custom tune. At this point I plan to add a Gords Ford H/E with the ability to add fans if necessary. I think that is it for the immediate future. I hope to have all or most of this done by mid 05..if not sooner. The next step will be porting my Eaton, plenum and T/B. That should about get me close to 500hp...if not there. Then I will regroup for 2006. I have a feeling that will end up being a Whipple with the required mods.
And yeah..I am working on suspension too. MM FLSFC are here..and awaiting install..some time next month. Followed by Springs yet to be determined..and more than likely MM C/C plates.
All work to be done by Amazon Racing...

Sweet Mike, looks like you have a great start! Good luck with the project!
~I just ordered Hi-capcity Intercooler Tank, Heat Exchanger, 2.76 Billet Flow pulley with 4 idlers (Comp Orange) and Billet Flows IRS Brace to keep the backend in tack under hard launches! ~

I was wondering if you have an idea what octane level you expect to run with at 600 hp?

Mike-
I am thinking about the ported Eaton myself. Probably won't happen until next year. If you get yours first you are going to have to give me a ride so I can see it first hand before putting it on the car.

Not sure yet..I run the 93 currently...but, have not thought about it currently...I will have to review that too.

No problem at all! Will do. It will happen this year but, probably end of the year at this point.
Thanks!

you can tune it to run on 93octane...most people now pushing 600rwhp are for 93octane...

Update...Magnaflow Catback/Catted X-pipe either here or being shipped to me as we speak. This to be installed as soon as the weather warms up..and I can get to a place to jack up the car!
JLT RAI also to be installed very soon..it's sitting in the garage now!
MM FL SFC to be installed Feb 12th
2.80/2.75 pulley coming with SCT Chip Tune..probably late Feb/Early March
Given the heat these things put off with supercharger I will also be doing the hood mood too...and install the hood shocks!
Gords HE....coming mid year..or sooner if I can afford it!
I think that is it for now...thanks for listening!

Mike still looking good! You're going to love the new exhaust system! Just wondering, but which pulleys are you going with Billet Flow? I highly recommend them, Doug has great customer service and the quality and workmanship are top notch!
For springs looks like you're still on the fence about which ones to go with. As you already know I've got the H&R springs and I love them. I've got my whole Bassani set-up on it and don't have any issues with dips or anything.
Good luck with your mods, I can't wait to see your dyno results!

Thanks! Going with RR Ultra Grip Pulley...I was thinking 2.80..but, I may end up with 2.75.
Yeah..I can't decide on the springs. I like the H&R drop..but, don't want to be scrapping bottom. Friend of mine is putting on Eibach's on his vert. Soon as he does and they settle..I am going to see what I think of that set up..and then go from there. Did you install Caster Camber plates with your springs?
Yeah..I can't wait to see the dyno either...I want 500hp this year..before Nov/Dec so, I can plan next years mods!

I second that about the H&R's...people say they scrap, but that must be b/c they arent paying attention or something...i love my drop and havent had any scraps yet...

blk04Cobra1 and Infamous SVT...did you guys use MM isolators or stock or none with the springs.

Mike, I did use the MM C/C plates, but didn't purchase the MM isolators! I wish I would have went with the Chrome C/C plates now, but the black ones are fine with me!
The H&R springs will give you a better ride quality then the others in my opinion!:)

The biggest problem you'll run into with "scrapping" with the H&R Supersports is the "x-brace" under the convertible models. Nothing on my car actually does scrape... except where the ProChamber meets the 3" catback on mine once in awhile. The front sits lower than the rear with the Supersport springs... but it depends on whether or not you use the poly spring isolators.
I used them on mine... and the front was dropped so much I had to do something about the alignment. I had the CC plates sitting around since actually before I bought my car so I went ahead and installed them after the springs went in ;)
I've talked to a few people with verts that run the Eibachs and said they had no scrapping whatsoever. That might help persuade your decision.

InfamousSVT, I thought '03-'04's already had that IRS brace on there from the factory? Or is it something else I'm thinking of...I know the '99-'01's didn't have it, but I was thinking Ford put it on ours? :dunno:

The IRS brace from Billet Flow cover's the pumkin of the differential and makes it stronger therefore on hard launches and way when you dump the clutch at the dragstrip it won't tear apart! Below are some pictures of what the problem can be and what the Billet Flow IRS brace does to help prevent it!

OKay...Magnaflow catback and JLT installed! X-pipe next weekend..and 2 weekends later..a 2.80 RR pulley w/100mm RR idler and a chip tune. And if I get really racey..ported TB and plenum...then the dyno for the numbers!!!
