Could you please help me. I live in the Charlotte, N.C. area. Im new to the group and a new 03 Cobra owner. Can anyone suggest any local performance shops that do good work on the Cobra's. I am looking to do some modifications and just don't want to take it to anyone. Would prefer someone who knows what they are doing if you know what I mean. Thanks.

I had my exhaust put on by Custom Performance, they are one of the clubs vendors! The are located near the Carolina Speedway!

I think I am wanting to go with the whipple supercharger, larger throttle body, bigger MAF, upgrade heat exchanger, and tune. Possibly larger injectors if I need them.

check out true blue performance, haywoodspeed.com, and undergroundracing.com. underground racing tuned my car very happy. they mainly do vipers but they have done a couple of kb's on 03 cobras co i am sure they could do a whipple:thumbsup:

I would get with No50 and see what he did. He has a whipple and 613 rwhp and I'm sure he can guide you in the right direction as far as who he got to do what.

For the bigger MAF, I would recommend either getting a MAFXtender or the SCT BigAir MAF, that way your tuner can program them according to your upgrades! If you do go with the Whipple you will need the larger injectors, and I've found that it's better to replace the injectors when you do the supercharger swap, otherwise you will have to take the supercharger completely back off to get to the passenger side injectors!

Amazon Racing has a Group Purchase going on for the Whipple, you should give Linn a call and find out the details on it http://www.amazonracing.com/whatsnew.html
I was going to get in on it, but I'm going to have to wait (wallet has to wait) until next time! Shannon (NO50) installed his himself! Since you are in the Charlotte area, I'm sure you can get some SCMC members to help you out!

If you haven't already you should join the club! We have a Dragday meet on Feb. 26th! There's a great bunch of people to meet and plenty of info to go around!:D

Now you know who did the work on the Vert Tony... they said they'd even help you mod yours if you ever wanna up the boost ;)

All work performed by East Coast Fellons Motorsport in the greater Hickory area :D:D:D That reminds me I need to take it by there and have them install those Level 5 halfshafts just sitting around... plus a bunch of bushings and stuff from Maximum Motorsports :p

Oh and for those that don't know... East Coast Fellons Motorsport is comprised of myself, Richard L. and Jeremiah W. Don't hesitate to come by and see us :rotf: :rotf:

I'd have to reiterate about UGR...they've done the work on my '04 and have done many mustangs in the past, plus a lot of Vipers today...if you call ask for KC and tell him Torrey sent ya, he'll hook you up
