had a long hard day today ..

couldn't work yesterday -

cuz the schools were closed. 12" of snow.

I could've made it to work later with Bully, but I didn't want to with Tom home.

So I went today.

My assistant's husband fainted while shoveling -
he had to go to the hospital, and they are going to put a pace maker for his heart in his chest !

So anyway, I was all by myself today, and ofcourse, it was Friday. There was, well lots to do.. Stuff I hadn't done for a long time.

It looks like I'm going to have to work all of next week..

oh well ...

Good thing I've got Bully, I'd hate to have to go somewhere in this weather in a Cobra !

There were cars rolling, and sliding and every which way ...
they forget, that your suppossed to slow down !!

even better is an Expedition.

Tim went to work with his partner, and let Tammy use the Expedition so she didn't have to use her GT. The three Mustangs are all home, clean and safe.

I just gone done and doo did wash Bully ..

she looks much better now.

If we bring her to Gingerman, hopefully you'll get a chance to drive her - she really is a fun car. And, Tim and I really do believe that we got some extra boost in that engine of ours - it's putting out allot more horsepower than advertised ..

sometimes, it even scares me how much power it gets about 4000 rpm --

...

Doesn't a front wheel drive car FEEL like it has even MORE power???? I think I was taught that somewhere along the line.....Because it has the power and pulling in the same area, or something like that anyway, i doon't remember the exact terms for it...:thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Nope.

It definitely doesn't FEEL like it has more horse power.

Not at all ..

I just know that this new engine that they put in is a definite screamer -

the first one was a "dud" ... a bomb, a failure...
dead in the water ...

this one is..

I had an OOPs moment this morning.......

Took Stryker out for a run..hopped onto the interstate, well i TRIED to but an 18-wheeler was there so i slowed down on the ramp (ya know there was know one else around he COULD have moved over....) and then i just touched the gas to get up to speed and around. WELL i looked down and here i was, just over 100 maybe 105.....OOPS!!!

I understand what you saying.

People "think" that there car is fast, they "think" they "feel" it -
but you gotta remember I drive allot of cars.

A GT, a supercharged '98, a '97 coupe, an Expedition --

it is a very strange feeling that both Tim and I, as well as others have about that car.

We just think they gave us a souped up engine, with more horsepower.

When we were on the track - even Jeff was impressed with it!

I'm not saying its lightning fast - it isn't.

But for what it is - it's quite a car !
We are very happy with it - I think I'm going to have troubles selling it to Tom -

it may have a little bit too much power for a teenage boy ..

We / I have driven alooot of cars, too. we stopped counting how many we have owned when it got over 100. Supercharged, turbo charged, the works.

and selling a car, esp to your child...whew a hard one!! We actullay gave Kera two mustangs, but sold them before she really got them ( she wasn't even 16 then...) one was just going to be too much for her....the other, well, we kinda traded it to her then boyfriend, she thought WE got the bad deal...but he blew it up within a week (like about everthing else he had!) Whew---- glad she got rid of him!!!!!! she got the last laugh!!!!

shop to shop for winter mods, It's spending the winter having changes made.

It started at the body shop, then Performance shop for NOS and rear end work, then to stereo shop (work almost complete) for killer system, then next week it's going to another performance shop for the blower, etc. That should take me to early March, then it's off to the car show. :)

Hopefully not long after the show she will be back on the road :)

Actually - the praise goes to my husband.

He installed it -
and we bought it from Stinger lifts -

but then again,
it was my working overtime that helped us to pay for it ..

thanks :D But I just had the NOS put in about a month ago, so I haven't tried it out yet, really it's mostly for show.... I don't think the engine will take too well to a blower and NOS, but the bottle will be full just in case :)

the unveiling at a local dealership.

It's gorgeous - and they've done quite a good job.
We are impressed ..
