Hey guys and gals. I joined the club last year but just know getting to the forums. I drive a 2001 silver Cobra. Just wanted to jump on here and say hi. I would like to ask, what type of springs are the best for my modle Cobra? A friend told me the Eibach or Steeda sport springs are really good. ;)

Welcome aboard!!
Where in Knoxville are you located?
As for the springs it depends on what you want to achieve. Are you just wanting to lower for looks, autocrossing, drag racing, open tracking, etc? I suggest you consider your goals for this car and have a plan for the mods, other wise you may wind up as some of us have redoing mods.
Welcome to the board. I think you will like the board. Most of the people are very helpful if you have questions on combinations or just whatever. Someone on this board has tried it or knows someone who has. As far as the springs i went with H&R's. Dont have them installed yet but for ride i believe they are one of the best out there. I rode in a 99 with the H&R's and the ride was not much different than stock.

Jason :rotf: http://mi.aacdn.us/Jnco02/myride.JPGWelcome to another 01 Cobra owner. When you decide on the springs let me know how they work out and how they look. I too am considering lowering springs.

Jason,
For the street, I recommend the Kenny Brown springs. Glad you made it out!

Hey Jason.
I did not realize who you were. Hey a couple of weeks ago as you came up Hardin Valley Road did you notice a big old white Ford F250 trying to keep up with you through the curves. Yep that was me!
H&R springs are good that is what I have.
