quick question

I'm just recently a new Cobra 01 owner and had a couple of questions maybe a few of you could help me out. I have a convertible (black top) and was wondering what the best treatment for it would be? I want to preserve it as much as I can seeing as how it only has 7,000 miles on it. Anything info on it would be very helpful!

Katie,

Most people will tell you to just use soap and water to clean your top. I am going to see if there is something else to put on there for my 94 Cobra Convertible and will let you know when I find out. I do know you have to watch out for putting anything on the top that has a greasy feeling because if the top gets wet, it will streak down on to the car and make a mess. I would venture to say that you can probably go to autozone and see what sort of dressing they have for it but my car pretty much stays covered up and I've only use soap and water. Wish I could be of more help. :(

I use a lint remover on mine. I try not to wash it anymore than need be. Also a car cover will help. I do not have a garage so a cover is a must for me. :thumbsup:
