Been browsing for awhile as a guest and decided to join SCMC. This looks like a nice site for sharing information :) . At least I haven't noticed too much in the way of "flaming" . My 1997 Cobra was purchased here in Madison and has since been modified over time by Doug at Performance Plus. He does great work, and the car now performs like I thought it should when I first purchased it. Mods:
-Vortech supercharger
-Motorsport throttle body
-B&M shifter
-80mm C&L mass air
-Bassani X-pipe
-Borla XR1 cat back (sounded good stock, but now it really rumbles)
-Tokico struts and shocks
-Eibach springs
-3.73 gear ratio
-Eclipse head/Boston Acoustic speakers/J&L sub/Xtant Amps

welcome. I lived in Madison until I was 13(1983). It is a very nice city. Glad to see you made it here. Where abouts in Madison do you live? I lived off of Cottage Grove Rd.

Welcome to the group! You should really sign up for the Gingerman track event in September. Tony & I plan to be there from the Carolinas. It's not far around Lake Michigan from Madison to the track at South Haven, Michigan.

I really like those 96-98 hoods...if I find one at a reasonable price, I'm going to swap my 94 GT hood for the 97 hood. Has to be 97, as my 94 is Rio Red! Glad you joined us... :)

We recently moved from the west side on Longmeadow Road (near Middleton) to the burbs (Town of Oregon). WooHoo, I finally got a 3 CAR GARAGE  !!!! That's the good news; the bad news is that my 17 year old son has already started filling it with parts for his bouncy-bounce hydraulic low rider 87 Monte Carlo. This could mean war :doh2: .
Later...Dave
