I had a lot of fun at the Knott's show, which must have had over 2000 Fords to gawk at... I think we ended up having 4 members enter their cars, and a few more stop by. I have always enjoyed going to this show the past few years, but this was my first time entering my car. We may have gotten a few more members interested in the club from passers by that stopped to talk to us. Here are just a few of I think over 200 pics I took at the show... Just call me the "West Coast Snapps", or "Shutterbug"... :D

All,
Thanks to everyone who showed up for the event. We had such a great
time and saw hundreds of Fords, all makes and models, from the 50's
to present day. The weather was picture perfect for Southern
California and so were the cars. The day didn't start out on a good
note for Aaron L. Seems he forgot his registration and after meeting
at the designated spot and waiting for others to show, he headed back
to Riverside to get his registration. It seems Aaron wasn't the only
one. Deb forgot hers also. She didn't get as far as Aaron before
turning back for hers. Joe made the trip from Arizona with some other
car club friends and, I from Winchester. We were later joined by Aaron
who arrived with another Stang Owner to show off his Mystichrome
Vert. We also ran into Alex who was there as a spectator and our club
was complete! We had 6 members for this event and I hope for our next
event we will see a few more. We had many people stop by and take
business cards with intentions of joining SCMC in the future. This
was a great opportunity to sell the club and meet other Ford and
Cobra owners in Southern California.
We were all able to park close to each other to show off our Cobras
and take in all the sites! Deb was approached by an interested car
owner to have her Mystichrome featured on his website along with a
sample of the roaring sound of her beast! More to come on this later,
right Deb? We ended the day with our goodbyes and headed home. This
was my first experience with this many great cars from the past. Ah
yes…, to own a 1970 Boss 302, or 67 Shelby Cobra......

That orange looking Saleen looks like the same Mystic orange they had at the Charlotte Motor Speedway a couple of years ago??
Glad y'all had a good time! We also got a new CA member last week. Way to build it up in SoCal!

Deb,
Hit reply, and then below the box where you enter your text, you will see a button that says manage attachments. Once that screen pops up you can browse for the image files on your computer. The only issue then is that the pictures need to be under 200kb. I resized all of my images to 800x600 with Photoshop, and lowered the quality a little bit to get them under 200kb. A safe way to go is resize them to 640x480, they will just be a little smaller than the ones I posted. Hope this helps...

WELL, cough, cough, it seems that my attachment capability is disabled (Tony? Edmund?) I guess I will just have to send a write up for the web site. :doh2:

Oh...so that's why you couldn't post pics huh? :rotf: Maybe we should disable everyone's capabilities to post pics, avatars, and banners so we can get some information up on the website..bwaahaaa! ;)
Just send Edmond a story with a nice photo for the front page. Don't forget to keep the pics less then 100kb for us dial uppers, thanks. :)
Also, when you send it to Firme, ask him to fix your pic capability on the BB and he'll take care of it for you.
