Hey guys, I'm new on this board and I just bought an 04 black on black Cobra convertible. Lovin it so far want to learn alot. This is my 3rd mustang but first Cobra, I had 2 89 GT's before this. I noticed a few of you had "born on dates" and "production run numbers" in your signatures and I was wondering how I could find that out about my car.

That's my first question and I'm sure I'll have many more. Appreciate your help in advance.

Welcome aboard :thumbsup: If you haven't joined the club yet, you should. Alot of good, knowledgable people here. Plus you get a discount on parts from our vendors.

You can call 1-800-Ford-SVT and give them your vin #. Sometimes they want you to fax them a copy of the registration. Also if you just bought the car new, you will automatically be mailed a certificate of authenticity (worth framing), and a letter. The certificate should have you born on date and build #.

Thanks, Everyone.... What a weekend! This was the first weekend in about 6 weeks that it didn't rain. You couldn't get me out of my car this weekend. I put my top down about 4 days ago and I haven't put it up yet. :D
