I'm strongly considering this, as the last one was a very good experience. I don't remember a single train, and with one exception, everybody was very good at passing, or giving a pass. In my other DEs, trains are frequent, and it seems like throwing dice to see if you will get a pass. I was stuck behind a slowly driven C6 Vette for over two laps on my last DE.
Will see what my treasurer says. Right now she is saying no, but if I behave for the next couple of months, she might change her mind. |
Track Day
I have a few questions. Can non-Cobra/Ford make enter? What about rain will you run?
Thanks in advance |

We will run rain or shine - no refunds unfortunately. This is pretty much standard with any/all open track events regardless of the organization putting on the event. The track does not refund our fees if it rains. On the bright side, I have run in the rain before and you will be amazed at how much you will learn! It forces you to be really smooth with all your inputs and makes you a better driver! |

Don't worry about the rain, these guys run a very good event, and with the exception of the last turn, there is little ponding even in a Texas down pour. That is how I did my first stint when I was there in April with Rick, and I'm a relative noob. :baby: That and props to Jim and the others snake handlers controlling pit out, they actualy do a great job of finding a clear spot of traffic before giving you the go. At my last DE, you could tell the burned out dude wasn't even looking at the track, and I had to slam my brakes a couple of times because I was released into traffic and at MSRH, turn#1's track out = pit out. |
