SCMC Cruise In/Meet at Red Brick Pizza--Pineville, NC

Who'd be interested in going to Red Brick Pizza in March on the 25th just to hang out and eat pizza? Maybe we can set up a meet at Concord Mills and cruise 1485 to Johnston Road on the top side??

Your thoughts??? :D

Concord Mills is in concord NC. For you I'd go I 85 North thru greenville, spartanburg than thru gastonia and charlotte to Exit 50 speedway Blvd (Where LOWES motorspeedway is) go to top of ramp make left over bridge and Concord Mills is on your left...

From Seneca, SC ...south on Hwy 123 to Hwy 253 towards Greenville. Exit onto I85 north toward Charlotte, NC. North on I85 to exit 30 in NC which is I485, east on I485 to the Johnston Road exit which is the next exit after the Mall. Left on Johnston Road, the Pizza place is in a shopping center on the right.

Let's have a SC dinner meet after drag day if you are going??

I wasnt planning on going to Jackson, dont have anything together right now. We went in the fall and had fun, but without somthing to race there is no reason to attend. May want to consider maybe doing a cruise in dinner meet in the Gaffney area sometime. Wont be as bad of a hike for us. Shady Side Dragway, would also be fun.

cobrabitn 02-07-2006 12:00 AM

Where is Shady side? Last year we did a Hwy 11 cruise, maybe we can do another one this year and keep our fingers crossed that the weather gods will be with us??

Most of us didn't go because no one wanted to go up Ceasar's Head in the pouring rain...bummer. :(

shady side dragway is 2149 honey haven rd. shelby, NC 28152 704-494-7313

Shady side is a 1/8th mile track where almost everyone is Gastonia (and surrounding area) race at

vossperformance 02-07-2006 11:05 PM

Yea we go test there alot, pretty good track. Never a wait in the lanes, and the entry fee is like 10 bucks or somthing to run. The track is just out side Gaffney. We get off 85 on the Hwy 11 exit to get there.

Here is a link to a vid that was taken of us testing at shadyside.

Its only half pass because Scott eneded up crossing the centerline.

I'm in for this one!! I wouldn't miss it.....especially since I live only about 10 minutes from there. Also, Jeff & I are going to work on a cruise to the new Hooter's in Pineville in the next few months!:D

BTW....you would be going East on I485 to Johnston Rd from I85.:)
