And now you can add some Ford SVT engineers in the mix, too!

What gear are you pulling out of turns 2, 3, 6 and 9?

I'm just practiced enough to start heel-toe downshifting at the track.
(Yes, I know that it's long over due!)

My '01 Cobra w/4.10 gears is a bit sluggish in third gear out of turns 2, 3, 6 &
9 in past years at Gingerman.

However my car gets crazy loose in 2nd gear high speed turns on the street.

Exiting the corners in 3rd I only have to worry about pushing.

Also, my Steeda Tri-X shifts 3rd to 4th to 3rd real nice. It does
not like going from 2nd to 3rd much at all (slow shifts)

Can't wait till next week. I haven't had a day off work in three weeks.

Get someone experienced to ride with you. I am betting if you played with different lines and driving techniques you will be able to learn to drive around the push.

I had a 01 Cobra with 4.10 gears, I would say you should be in third gear for almost the whole track, the exception will be a shift to 4th on one or two straight aways.

In my 95R, I put the car in 3rd gear when I start the session, and my next shift is when I come off the track.

Slight change of plans, we got a room at the hotel. We didn't feel like putting up the tent-mahal in the dark Friday night (Cathy has to work Friday). I'm still bringing fresh, homebrewed Honey/Ginger Beer for the BBQ though.

Everything is coming together on my car deal, it won't be fast yet, but that doesn't matter in SATCAR. Right Brian?

----

It will be nice to see you again!!

We decided not to bring my '99. filling up the tanks of a diesel and a '99 Cobra will be quite enough.

I'm a bit rusty Thomas, I will definitely need some instructing!! no doubt about it
