I think in spite of Mother Nature's temper tantrum, all went well. Most seemed happy and satisfied. I do believe we would have had a lot more cars had we had Mother's co-operation. We signed up 3 new members and had several who decided not to enter the show because of the threatening skies. All in all, it was GOOD :-)

Thumbs up GREAT TURNOUT!!!!!!!1

I agree!!!!!!
There was a GREAT turnout despite the crappy weather. I was very impressed w/ the calliber of Stangs out there! Everything seemed to go well...Iknow things get kinda crazy behing the scenes..and each time you work out more 'bugs'.
I had my camera, I"m just mad at myself for not taking any pics. But by the time I got the car cleaned up it was not long after it started to rain!
We took the 'scenic route' on the way in! LOL....(WhiteSnake, just kiddin' w/ ya hon!) Actually, it was a nice drive in, and I did have to stop and get some coffee....
I really enjoyed meeting more of ya'll and hope to meet more that I havent met yet! Ya'll are a great group of peeps.....Be looking forward to the next show!
cya all soon!
TNT

I had a smaller Boom Box w/ me! You shouldve asked, I didn't use it!

BTW: did anyone get any shots of our cars out there??????

Great Job All! I knew you could do it! Ready or not, you pulled it off and can apply what you learned this year for next year. Sounds like you had more modern muscle then anything, which is great! Congrats on a job well done and getting three new members. Can't wait to hear who won what.

Y'all are FANTASTIC!

With the fact that it rained and all...the show went great. I enjoyed meeting new people and of course as always enjoy spending time with my pals. You all did a great job on your first show. Thanks to Joe Myers Ford for their support! Congrats to all the winners. The pics look great, as always...I forgot my camera. I think I need to keep one in the L.

The show was great. The rain sucked, but that is part of the game. At least everyone seemed to have a good time, and no one was squalling that their garage queen was getting wet !

I was going to try and get my R ready to show, but it was filthy, and I did not get a chance to wash the snake that weekend.

All in all though, it was a well run event ! My compliments to the crew and all of the support cast.

I am not planning on neglecting the R. Unless you count driving the heck out of it...It has over 9700 miles, and I got it with 490mi. It did sit in storage for about 4 months too.

The Lambo along with a Ferarri 360 Modeno/Converted to an F355 by Ferarri were used in the new Bond movie, Die Another Day, and just came off the set. I sold the Ferarri to a friend and that will pay for the duties, shipping, and some of the resto work for the Lambo. The Ferarri needed an engine and transmisson, so we are thinking about trying to adapt a 347 SBF and a TKO to the trasfercase of the Ferarri. The Lambo needs some minor TLC, and also needs to have the engine re-installed into the bay, but other than that, it is good to go. According to my insurance agent, I will be limited to around 2500 miles a year on the car, and I actually hope to try and spin it into a 97 or later Diablo. With the pedigee, and documentation from EON Productions, I figure I can get enough to get the newer Diablo, and leave enough left over to restore my house fund. We'll just have to see.

The next obvious question is how did I get the car? A friend works in special effects and has done the last 10 or so Bond movies, Aliens, Harry Potter 1,2,3,4(3&4 to go into production in a month). He has gotten me a few things off the last 2 Potter movies, including a couple brooms, Harry's training broom and a Nimbus 2001. The Nimbus 2001 is used in HP2 also coming out this fall.

I got the blessing from DOT today to ship the car in, so I have to go over, finalize all the paperwork, and get the beasts over here. It may be here in a month or so. I can't wait for my early Christmas present ... hehehehehe...

And No, I don't plan on neglecting the R. heheheh
