New Job

I will retire from a 29 billion dollar company in a few days. Worked there 19 years. Since Corporate America was cutting back and made my job redundant, I'm due a juicy severance package. But, we're selling our big house moving to a smaller one.

Pension and 401k funds will keep me in Cobras for a while. Old Whistler needs to last me until the '07 one comes out.

Tony, I did really get sick of the big corporation. You'er absolutely right about them caring for their people. "P" now stands only for "profit".

I'm bitter, but it took me less than a day to get over that feeling.

Sure, I'll have more time for SCMC outings.

Congratulations on your new job Carl. What kind of business is it? You've always been a really nice guy whenever I've seen you & I'm sure that the people from your other company will miss having you around. However, the folks at this new company will come to realize how lucky they are to have you.
