Once I get a chip in, a cold air kit, bigger MAF Sensor, put on JBA headers, underrive pulleys, and get it all tuned to the new exhaust I put on, I will have the speed governor removed when it gets tuned. Then I should be able to hammer 165 or 170 I would think. We shall soon find out.

I know I have to be real careful where and when I do that though, cause around here it's an automatic 3 days in jail, plus the ticket goes on my driving record if I get caught, cause they won't allow me to amend it to a non-moving violation, and on top of that, it's like a $1,000 fine for public endangerment, plus driving school. Damn legal beagles can't let no one have any fun.

I thought at most if you go over twice the posted speed limit is automatic loss of license. In other words I would hate to find out any penalties one would incure from excess speed. I am not fond of wrist bracelets or shackles nor would I want to loose my car either.

121mph in the quarter mile. Had my old 94 cobra that I sold up to 135 back when it was new (and I was young and stupid), on a freeway.
