It's 26 degress here in Columbia today, and there's alot of this white stuff all over the ground..
 Of course, the entire state's economy is shut down, except for yours truly..

If that's the way the weather is up there all winter I have a suggestion...........MOVE SOUTH!!!
 No way I could put up with that kind of weather! I think we have about 2-3 inches and it's cold but not like what you described!!

me.... here?...... ummm, let me think about that......
chip...chip crack....crack....chip.... anyone have some calcium chloride aroung to de-ice me fingers again.... chip....crack.....  there, that helped! and yes BD, it makes one a little tougher when one goes outside and and their breath freezes BEFORE it exits the lungs

infact, here is a clipping I just took from the weather channel online re: our weather report
Today: Mostly sunny. Wind chills approaching -20F. High near 15F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph. Tonight: Fair to partly cloudy. Low 1F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies. High near 15F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph. Tomorrow night: Windy with a few clouds from time to time. Wind chills approaching -15F. Low 8F. Winds NNW at 20 to 30 mph. Pretty discouraging isn't it!

ouch- my lungs are hurting just remembering
and i have pictures of my dad standing next to the snowbanks over his head (he being 6') when we lived in maine.....

man, i am SO SICK of this! ok we got 8+ inches not including the drifts... the state decided that SALT is a good thing- ok so the roads are basically clear ( not my road, but the main ones are) and now my poor red car is yucky white!!!
 the snow is still around, and calling for more today oh i did wash the car off yesterday, butt still.....

The pain index here has been high and usually this time of year - its not......

I hear ya Lisa!! It is snowing here right now.... another 3-6 by morning, then more (5-7 inches) tomorrow night!!
OK, I am now doing the "hit the road snow, and don't u come back no more... no more... no more....NO MORE!" dance!!!!
